Cervical mucus at 31 weeks...plug?

Twice in the last week I have noticed mucus when wiping. The first time it was a small amount and was very jelly like.
It just happened again after I left the bathroom but this time it was a lot more. I am assuming this may be my mucus plug?

Should I be worried? It is clear and not bloody or brown. My last 2 were over 2 weeks late and I never noticed anything like this before they were born. Anyone else experience something like this at this stage in pregnancy?

if it is your plug, and is not bloody, you are fine. I have been losing mine since around 26 weeks (was bloody at first... i had spotting that week) and every few weeks I will lose it again (it regenerates) but I am 33 weeks tomorrow with no issues whatsoever.

With DD it started falling out between 32 and 34 weeks sometime and she did not come until around 39w1d!

However, with late pregnancy comes a change in discharge, so it is possible its just your regular mucous.

I'm 31 weeks today and have noticed an increase in what I would describe as thick egg-white CM the past few days.
I agree with Mae - remember it regenerates and I always consider it a good sign that my body is doing what it needs to do to keep anything that shouldn't be up near my cervix away!
