My sister is having her third child in about a month, but her first in Florida. She just had her hospital tour at Monroe and was not impressed by their protocols. Does anyone have any experience or helpful tips?
The biggest issue is after baby is delivered, baby is to go to the nursery after about an hour to be monitored. Then is to be taken to the nursery for about 3 hours every morning and evening.
If there are any doulas that are interested in being backup? I am a doula and am going down to visit, but I may miss the delivery since we can't count on it happening when we want it to.
They are going to need mega advocacy to keep her baby in her room. She does NOT want baby to receive any supplements, and she has 9+ lb. babies, but they are always smooth. She also wants to try to go natural this time.
