We are having a rough, rough time right now. The past 3 months have just been one crappy thing happening after another. DH's car died. My car blew a (pretty new) tire & caused other damage. DH was diagnosed with early-stage melanoma. My grandmother is having bypass surgery *right now* and isn't expected to live. My father is stopping chemo treatments and probably won't live much longer. I found out today that I have a stress fracture in my foot. This is after years of meds that tanked my metabolism & caused 100 pounds in weight gain. Two weeks into cardio (6 weeks off meds!) & I can't work out for who knows how long. And on & on & on.
How do you handle these things? I have no family nearby (which adds to the stress with things happening), and though we have lots of acquaintances, few of them are people who will come to our aid if needed. I'm running on empty right now and don't know what to do.
