I am wondering- how and when do you use hemp seeds? What is the nutritional reason? Omega-3, protein? What do they taste like?
I've heard/read people mentioning them, and was thinking about buying some, but I am not sure what the point is.
We are ovo-lacto vegetarians, eating a whole-foods based, low-grain diet (almost grain-free for the adults). I cook in EVOO, organic butter and organic coconut oil, and we take some DHA supps and eat Omega-3 eggs. We don't have any food intolerances that I know of, but I am restricting my and DH's carbohydrate intake for weight loss and general health. Anyway, wondering what kind of role hemp might play in our diets, if any.
