heat exhaustion while pg?

i was out in the garden today for a while and i think i got heat exhaustion apparently 1.5L of water wasn't enough, or something. anyway i've felt like crap all day, i had to lay down all afternoon and when i got up i was pretty dizzy. i'm a bit better now (drank LOTS of water, took a cool shower) but i'm a bit worried.. if you get overheated for a few hours, is that something to really worry about?

If you are not in labor from it, you probably did not overdo it too bad. Just keep getting water in you!

Heat stroke (meaning your body temp got way too high) may be worrisome for babys wellbeing, but really, the biggest risk with dehydration is going into premature labor.

You're probably fine. I feel like that after about ten minutes in the sun-always have. I just drink a lot and shade or the inside world are my best friends

You should be fine. On Saturday, the heat index here was like 110. I went outside to run errands and talk with my BIL. There was a breeze, so I felt fine, but the next day I felt terrible. I just think pregnancy it's hard to tolerate heat, but you should be fine if you feel better now.
