What happens if CD 3 is on a weekend?

My SIS was canceled, so that means it's a go on starting meds with my next cycle. Today is CD28. My cycles are usually 28-32 days, depending on the weather, the alignment of the moon and stars, rather or not the groundhog sees his shadow, or if you flip a coin or something (in other words, it's pretty random).

I didn't chart this month, but I had EWCM on CDs 19 and 20. My LP is between 12-14 days, typically settling around 13 days. Given that information, my period could start, Sunday the 1st or Monday the 2nd, leaving me ok for CD3 to be that Wednesday or Thursday which is fine by me.

Of course since I didn't chart, I might be wrong, and if I am and O occurred at the "usual" time of CD 17, my period will arrive Friday, making CD 3 Sunday, when, of course, the office is closed.

I'm really (really) hoping that my period arrives today or tomorrow, but if it doesn't, what will happen? Will the cycle be canceled?

I think it depends on the clinic? Mine does US and other " time sensitive" appts on sat I think, and they want to see you cd 2 or 3, so there's always a combo that will work out.

The clinic I worked in did them year round except maybe on Christmas if it could be avoided. I worked the weekends Saturday and Sunday and was called in late at night occasionally. Your clinic should also be able to work with you if they are a good one.

I called the clinic and she told me to call the minute I get "full red flow" and leave a message with the service. The clinic isn't "open" on Saturdays and Sundays and they won't take appointments for anything, but if a current patient is ovulating or has a need for a certain CD test, they will come in on the weekends.

I'm assuming that there won't be a receptionist or additional staff there, but enough people to get the job done.

Guess that answers that question.
