can breastfeeding cause your tsh level to rise?

Last year I had a tsh level of 1.60, today it's 2.60. I am still nursing my 15 month old daughter, but only at night. I'm worried I have a chance at getting hypothyroid. Well my tsh levels go down to a healthy level once I completely stop nursing? Thanks in advance!

Where are you located? I thought that normal TSH levels are 0.3-3.0/

I haven't heard of nursing causing a rise in TSH, but I do know that pregnancy can trigger thyroid issues.

I live in Hawaii. Well they say that is the old standard, but there is a new standard that TSH over 2.0 is not ideal. Doctors haven't adopted the new guideline yet. This is what my friend was telling me so don't take my word yet, because I myself am not sure.
