August, September, October Mama's..

I would really appreciate it if you could put on the pause button to your belly so that I can have some more time to adjust to being a mom of two in oh... 3 months and 2 weeks or whatever the time frame is now.

No seriously... just keep your babies in your bellies! Thank you! I mean I don't think this is that unreasonable. Right!??!! LOL!

Augusts are already popping out left and right... and Septembers will be starting here within a week or two (hopefully they wait that long) so uh...haha good luck on that one

Ha!

You think YOU'RE freaking out!? See that ticker down there in my siggy? See it? It's about to go down to six weeks. SIX!

I'd be happy to press the pause button on my belly if you're willing to fly out, fix my basement, patch the paint in the bathroom, finish a quilt, and get my house spotless in the next six weeks. Oh, and if you could get school to start up a month later, that would be great, too.

Hehe. I was just gonna say...."You think you're freaking?" as well LOL.

See my signature? I haven't changed it in a bit. Right away it should read 1.4 weeks!

We are renovating a house AND an office and just started a new business and have a 21 month old.

To be honest I am crapping my pants!

Hey, I've only got 10 weeks left to adjust to being a mom of FOUR!

I'd gladly hit pause if I could! Dh is dying for our baby to just be here already, but I'm enjoying being pregnant .. and I also know how much life is going to change once this baby gets here. It's been a loooong time since there has been a baby around here - ds is almost 8 and pretty independent ... I have a job & we are starting a new business, I'm going to have to balance both of those things with this new baby ... so yeah, I'd rather he just pause and stay put until I have things more figured out!!!!

If I could keep my baby in my belly I would! He is so easy to take care of in there, and he is so safe. He's our first, and his father wants him here.... YESTERDAY... lol. Time is flying by!

Oh, if only!

I'm not ready to share her with anyone else yet. I've only got about 6-11 more weeks of it being just me and her. We may spend the first three months home together, we'll take trips to the movies and have mama-daughter outings as she gets older, I'm sure... but never again will she be mine and only mine.

Yes, I am starting to feel a bit possessive of this little creature about now.

I came across this recently; it will be one of my meditations during early labor:

These Last Few Hours

It is important to me
That I spend a part
Of the next few hours
Here alone with you
In the darkness

You and I will never be
This close again
Soon you will be
A tiny person
All on your own.

No longer the kicking,
Demanding bulge in my body
That I have grown to love so much

I pray that you will be safely guided
On your journey to my arms

And I ask for the strength, courage and
The power of birthing, to open my body and mind for you
And ever so gently us as one will become two

We have our house listed to sell, and are getting NO BITES, and I really want to be moved before baby comes sometime in October (we want to move closer to the kids' school to cut down on our commute... it was pretty hard when ds3 was a baby and I am dreading a repeat winter like that!). And I'm finding it difficult to keep the house ready for showings that never occur! Grrr... so, yes, I'm willing to hit pause for awhile.

This is my biggest worry. My oldest starts a new school about 10 days before the baby is due! I have to buy uniforms, school supplies, and we all have to adjust to getting up before 8am by September! I am in a panic! Really dreading taking a newborn and a toddler in the car every morning with me to drop off my oldest. Why didn't I think of this when I got pregnant? I would have skipped September as a due date when TTC!

oh Lyndzies.....just wait until she is earthside.....

I was so possessive of DS after he was born (still am a bit ) I would nurse him extra long when we were in company, or have him in a carrier, just so no one else was able to have him!

That's my plan, mama! (Esp. the carrier bit, esp. when I introduce her at work. "Oh, I'd have you hold her, but it's a pain (hehe, NOT) to get her in and out of the wrap").

Lol.

I'm due in 10 weeks with my 2nd, but my first was 3 weeks early. So I'm freaking out a bit too. I'm going to miss having one on one time with DD.

My first was 3.5 weeks early and I was freaking out around the 10 weeks left time too (and around the 8 weeks left, 6 weeks left...) but here I am at 37 weeks and baby'ss till cookin'! It feels like I'm over due, wasn't i supposed to have this baby by now??

Lucy&Jude'sMama - I DO NOT want to hold this baby in any longer!! I am not granting you your pause button wish!

Oh Mamas, I'm 'due' next week and lost my mucus plug today. Soon, I will have 4 children. I would love a pause buttton for many, many reasons.
