I'm working on an article about the family bed and cosleeping in families in which the children are slightly older--say five and up. I've spoken to many families who will happily cosleep until their children decide they are ready for an independent bed; but I'm also looking for people who are trying--possibly for logistics, or because their child/children move around too much, or because they want more private time with the spouse--to gently transition those kids into their own beds, something I imagine can be a challenge. Any thoughts from anyone with this experience?
