Right now, where we're living is not where we'd like to be. Our goal/dream is to one day move out to the west coast, preferably Washington or Oregon. I'm still in grad school, and gaining experience in my field, while my husband has five years experience in his current field (he changed from engineering to a more hands-on millwork field).
How would we go about networking or working toward our goal of living in another city? I know that many of the best jobs are not found through job boards. Do any of you have experience with this? Any suggestions, comments, concerns, etc. are greatly appreciated!
