Knitted gifts for guys?

Non-sweater/big clothing ... I'm talking small stuff.

Last wnter my Dh loved the wool boot liners I made him. Basically (I don't have a link) but it was the slipper pattern from knitting at knoon designs (like a family slipper pattern)- I made the cuff really long- so when felted it was about 4" tall. I just used cheap felting wool because they went over his socks anyway. He wore out a couple of pairs because he lived in them. They were pretty quick to knit up.

I have also knit him hats- but he likes the nice soft wool for those- he lived in this one particular hat- but I made up the pattern and can't remember the name of the yarn- that was really helpful wasn't it?

I've made my DH hats and he likes scarves so he might get one this year. I've made my brother a hat and neck warmer. He's not a scarf kind of guy, but he lived in his neck warmer last year. Slippers could be good for some guys (not my DH, though) and I love the boot liner idea.

The wool boot liners are a fantastic idea! I think that my own DH has been talking about getting something to keep his feet warmer when hunting etc. This might work for him!

For Christmas last year, I made felted oven mitts and put it with some homemade BBQ rubs. The pattern I used is not on rav, but I'm sure there are others.
