'Tricking' Clearblue Fertility Monitor

I know there is a post about this somewhere, but I can't seem to find it, so here's my question:

Has anyone found a way to use the least amount of test sticks with the CBFM? It drives me nuts the way it asks for more sticks after ovulation (i.e., after two peaks and a high, it still asks for more sticks). I've confirmed ovulation using my BBT, so I want to stop giving it sticks. I understand that it will ask until you use at least 10 sticks. Could I just stop feeding it sticks? Or could I just reuse an old stick from a 'low' day? This setup annoys me, on principle (and of course I don't want to spend the extra cash).

Thanks!

Hi collieflower!

I just stop giving it sticks after the first peak day... It will ask for another one when you turn it on in you testing window, but after that will display the bars...

Hey Jenger! Thanks for the response!

So it's as easy as that, hey? You've been doing this for a few cycles and after you reset for the next cycle it starts asking you for sticks partway through as usual? I wondered if it would mess things up if I stopped giving it sticks.

That's it-the CBFM is not getting another stick tomorrow when it asks
