Anyone ever heard of this?

I took this test at 18dpo (found out I was PG at 10dpo) The test line was super dark and the control line was soooo faint. Of course due to my loss a few months ago, I started getting paranoid thinking maybe the test strip was put in the plastic case backwards when it was being put together So I called the 1800 # and they said when you have really high levels of HCG the dye gets "pulled" from the control line to the test line Anyone ever heard of this??

Yep, had that happen to me with dd#1. I'd taken a couple of tests that were bfp's, but just couldn't convince myself that it was true so I took a FRER that looked exactly like your picture. I freaked out, too, and called the help line.

Yep, I've heard of it. I've also heard of that meaning that the test is upside down. But a positive is a positive.

I didn't test until I was 16DPO and my "positive" line was darker than my control line. From what I understand it is because the majority of the dye available is used up on the positive part.

I think that's normal actually. I have tests from this time around you can't even see the control line....
I think we're used to seeing the kind of lines at 7 dpo where you need to add saturation, tilt the screen and squint. Congrats mama!

Lyterae, thanks for posting your test. I had seen tests just like yours, with the test line darker than the control line, but never ones like mine with the control line almost a squinter. Ahh, I just need to relax and enjoy this pregnancy!!
