Middle name help! :)

All of us have "J" names in our family, even DH and I. My boys are:

Jacob Aaron & Julian Alexander.

We are totally unsure about a girl's name as we can't find any "J" names we like for a girl. If it's a boy he will be Jordan, but we need a middle name! I liked Jordan Armand but DH hates the name Armand. The middle name doesn't have to be an "A" name but it would be nice.

Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

Anselm
I really like this name but where I'm from it's pronounced "Anslem" so it simply won't do for me.
Abijah is a nice Bible name.

I love Justine for a girl...

we got "stuck" in a "J" theme for a while--i say stuck because we liked it then, but are now purposely breaking the trend.

anyway, my girl names were always Jordana Isolde and Joslyn Elora.

pp's already suggested middle names i was going to.

Choose a family name. A loved relative or respected ancestor.

And for a girl's name beginning with J, you can't do better than the spunky, classic and literary Josephine.

Thanks for the girl name suggestions too!!!

I actually do have a fav "J" girl name but can't use it because it is too close to my DS2's name- Julianna. I can't use that name if my son is "Julian", right? lol that would be too weird. Rats.

Those are awesome suggestions, thanks philomom!

Adorkable, I thought about using Jordan no matter the sex too! Still a possibility! I really like it for a boy though.

Jordan Aiden
Jordon Aaron
Jordon Abraham (I kind of like the flow of this one!)
Jordon Adam
Jordon Aviv
Jordon Armon (I like this one a lot too!)

That's all I can come up with at the moment. Good Luck!

I like Jessamyn for a girl.

Juliet and Justine are two of my favorite girl's names.

For boys, I like:

Jordan Amon
Jordan Avery
Jordan Avram
Jordan Arthur
Jordan Abel
Jordan Alden
Jordan Andrew
Jordan Antony
Jordan Arlen
Jordan Arnon
Jordan Asher
Jordan Avel
Jordan Avraham

...Arnon sounds a lot like Armand, and it has a fabulous meaning. "Rushing stream" in Hebrew

It's too bad you and DH are Js. My friends husband is a J and she is an A so all boys have J names and her girl has an A name.

I love the name Josie for a girl, but it is a family name for me so I am biased.

I love Julia too, but with your son Julian it would not work. What DH and I did is went to a website like babynames.com and put each of our favorite names on our favorite list, and then printed them out and compared them.

Thank you so much for all the great suggestions, this is really a HUGE help!!!

Sumner Rain- you know, my other fav names for a girl are "A" names! DH and I always said if we had more than one girl we would use "A" names, but there is no way to know if that will ever happen lol.

I like Juliet! Is that too close to Julian?

Juliet's a great name. But with brother Julian, I'm afraid that's just too cutesy.

However, a pp's suggestion of Jessamyn is terrific. Jessamyn West is a great author (The Friendly Persuasion etc.) and it's unusual without being outlandish.
