New to EC - 11 month old (help)

We are just really getting into EC. I am not sure what we are doing exactly. I just know it's fun. My DD goes pee pee in her potty a few times a day when I do. She seems to LOVE it. NOt sure what's next. Do I do something different or just wait for her signals?

Also, what are some good trainer/diaper for around the house?

Thanks

my DD is just a little older than yours, we've been doing p/t EC since 2m, but for now, I just offer the potty whenever I think of it, and she sometimes asks for the potty, and she sometimes takes herself to the potty (if she's naked on the bottom). She has a "miss" usually 1-2x per day.

I'd suggest you just keep up what you are doing, talk to her about it, offer a sign and word and see where it goes. Also you can offer just upon awakening- that's a predictable catch for us and I've read here and it books that it is for many people.

My DD wears a variety of things around the house- nakey bum if its warm, or sometimes a coverless fitted diaper. I have a big stash of FuzziBunz hand-me-down dipes that we use for out and about. Have heard people like the Simply Cloth cover and we're planning to get a few to use with doublers as trainers after we move, but are making do with what we have now.

Good luck! We did something like "EC" without knowing what we were doing with DS, when he was 15mo. I just followed his lead and my instincts, and it worked out fine.
