containers for homemade cleaners?

Hi,

I've been using homemade cleaners for a while, but I have never been satisfied with the bottles I use (mostly the squirt and spray bottles). I am putting together a starter kit for my mother for her birthday (recipes, castille soap, baking soda, vinegar, essential oils, bottles, etc) and am looking for ideas for where to get better bottles.

I mostly use recipes from Clean House, Clean Planet and I know the author says she sells bottles labeled with the recipes, but her website is down and the phone number is disconnected. I suppose she's no longer in business.

Anyone have any good resources?

Thanks,
Karen

No, but I'm interested. I just got CHCP, and was disappointed to see the website down. I did use her idea for an old Tucks container for the earth scrub, and it works great

Wal-Mart has some decent 16 oz spray bottles in the garden dept, but they have cheesy flowers all over them. At least they spray well...

I saw those flower bottles at walmart, too, and rejected them. In the cosmetics department, they had some sprayco 8 oz bottles that I am using for dusting spray and merlin's magic. I got a 4 pack of 32 ounce bottles from BJs that are working well so far.

The spray bottles from our local dollar store are just fine. Can you check there?

found a good website

Thanks for all the suggestions. The only problem I have with spray bottles is that I find 32 oz (which are too tall for my cabinets) or the little 8 oz beauty care type. Mostly, my problem is finding decent squirt bottles for toilet bowl and tile cleaner. I just placed an order on a site called usplastic.com. They had a ton to choose from, I'll have to wait and see how their shipping is.

Thanks everyone!

At Walmart, they have a middle size bottle in the laundry dept. It has a pile of folded laundry on it, but it's a good size.
