I'm Lyn, mum to a 8week old baby boy called Aiden. We were trying to homebirth, but my labor stalled and I timed out and had to go to the hospital. I eventually had Aiden by c-section, after a 37 hour labor that only got me to 8cm dilated and 80% effaced. I'd love to VBAC next time around, but our local L&D don't do them, and we can't afford to go out of network again.
I'm also an immigrant of nearly 2 years. I moved to Florida from Scotland after marrying my Floridian husband. We would love to have a lot more children, so really don't want to have more scheduled c-sections. Right now we are waiting out my 3 month recovery time before trying to conceive again. I'd love Aiden to have at least 1 sibling close in age, so they can grow up together.
