OPK question

My cycle has been screwed up at best since having DD 2 years ago, and I haven't ovulated in almost a year (we're still nursing). We're anxious for another baby, so I've been taking OPKs from early-pregnancy-tests.com pretty regularly (if I think there's even the smallest chance I'm fertile) to try to catch the egg the next time I ovulate.

Today's OPK was confusing to me. There was a thin line that was as dark as the control, but it was less than half of the width of the test line. The rest of the test line was faint. That's negative, right? My fertility signs are only moderate and I'm not having any nipple pain when nursing, so I'd be shocked if I was about to ovulate (though I'd take it ).

it's negative. maybe it's inching toward positive. but my experience with ic opks is, hold them at arms length. dont over scrutinize, it just gets confusing. when they are positive, there is no question. keep testing, if your other fertility signs are lining up, you might want to check like 3 opks/day. good luck!

Thanks! That's what I thought, but it's the closest to positive I've seen in a *long* time.
