Cloudy urine?

I have had cloudy pee two days in a row. It seems to only be in the morning, but I can't say for sure. Should I be concerned? I know all the different things it can mean and next time I have to pee, I'm going to do the vinegar test (to check if it's caused from phosphates).

Anyone else having this?

Hmm on one of those predict the baby's gender websites it says:

if you are pregnant with a boy you will have bright yellow urine

if you are pregnant with a girl you will have cloudy urine

so maybe it's a girl

that is funny! I too have had cloudy urine OP and when Holly said this it took me back to the BRIGHT urine i had when pregnant with my son.

my DH told me I have to start flushing in the middle of the night because my urine has been so cloudy from day one. Apparently it was knocking him out in the morning when he got up to pee.

I actually called my midwives about this when I was pregnant with my son (oops, he produced the wrong kind of urine in me)...they said it was likely from cervical mucous/vag discharge that came out when I peed. That your body flushes that out every day, makes new, it was a good, okay thing.

I just asked my MFM about this very thing yesterday, because I've had lots of cloudy pee, too! I was concerned about it being indicative of protein in my urine. He said, no, sometimes it's cloudy, and it's totally normal. No worries, Mama!

I do notice cloudier urine when I'm probably not drinking enough water - it clears up when I remind myself to drink.

I went to my old midwife's and did a pee test and everything was normal, so I guess it's just discharge. I typically only see it cloudy in AM pee. Weird.

Just be careful that is not the sign on a UTI or something similar, I have heard of many ladies around here that get them in pregnancy without the rest of the normal symptoms. They can cause bigger issues if untreated. You may ask for care provider for a urine test to see if anything grows. And/or start taking cranberry tablets just in case
