10 days late, could i still get my BFP???

hi ladies, i really would appreciate some input, i am going absolutely crazy right now! my 2WW is turning into a 4WW! i'm ten days late and have had 3 BFN's so far. the last HPT i took was at 8 days late. i'm not experiencing a whole lot of symptoms, but i haven't been this late since i got pregnant with #1! i have been very regular since his birth... he's 14mo and i'm still nursing, and just recently went through a growth spurt and is nursing more frequently at night again... could that be what is causing me to be late? or is it possible i am pregnant and my levels are just not high enough yet? has anyone else ever had to wait this long for a BPF??? i am planning to test again on sunday at 2 weeks late (28DPO)...

what's weird is a few days before AF was supposed to start i had lots of cramping, serious bloating, and was irritable as hell... i was SO SURE AF was coming! the cramping stopped and AF never came, although the bloating and irritibility have continued. i've been feeling very fatigued and thirsty, and have had a noticable increase in discharge. there were two instances last week where i had a lot of thick white creamy CM come out all at once and drench my panties (sorry, TMI! lol!)... what i don't get is if these really are symptoms of pregnancy wouldn't i get a BFP already???

if it's driving you crazy, get a blood test. it is rare but possible for hcg not to be detected in urine. more likely though, i'd have to say anecdotally from reading lots of posts like yours from other ladies in the same boat, af is delayed because of bf'ing, or you o'd later than you thought, or you have a little ovarian cyst that is delaying af, or some other very common reason like that. if you are sure you are 10 days late, then you are temping right? what do your temps look like?

i don't temp, but i do chart my AF, and my cervical fluids, position, etc almost daily. i tried temping when we first started talking about another, but just couldn't get any kind of consistent reading since i'm still up multiple times a night to nurse...

i agree that it's possible that it could be the nursing, but the funny thing is i have been very regular *to the exact day* every month until now... i should just get a blood test...

If you are truly late, even just a couple days, it would show up on a test. You've ovulated very late this cycle (or maybe not at all, yet) and that's why af hasn't showed and tests are neg.
As long as she doesn't show, you're still in the game. Since you had some cramping around af time, I'm guessing THAT'S when you o'd. So maybe you're only 10dpo right now. Meaning you have 4 or 5 days yet til she shows. There's still time for a bfp.

It could even just be a random fluke late ovulation or anovulatory cycle... and have NOTHING to do with the nursing. It happens to almost every woman now and then.

The only one I can remember for certain undoubtedly my cycle was just plain OFF... it was 14 days late before AF came! I was charting at that time (but like you, not temps) so I had no clue what was going on as DH was halfway across the country for work, there was no way I was even a little pregnant!

That isnt to say you arent pregnant, if you are having unprotected sex, even if you ovulate late you can get pregnant from that, you just would not get your BFP until much later than you would expect.

It could def be a random fluke. Even the most regular of people can have 1 or 2 anov cycles a year and it's nothing to be concerned about.
With my first pregnancy I wasn't charting either and was a few days late. I finally got a faint bfp but that pg didn't stick.
