I have been ill with a sinus infection for more than 4 months now. My main symptoms are debilitating headache, severe fatigue and nausea. It was not an easy diagnosis and was eventually made via head CT and failure to respond to migraine meds. I have responded to and then stopped responding to three different antibiotics. They all work for about a week, and then I get sick again. The ENT I am seeing says the next step is endoscopic sinus surgery. I am willing to consider this, but want to try everything else first.
I do twice daily sinus rinses with salt and hydrogen peroxide. I am on a nasal spray for allergies. Allergies are presumably contributing, but I have had allergies all my life and never experienced anything like this.
I am not particularly alternative-minded...specifically, I do not believe in homeopathy at all, so that is not a helpful suggestion. However, I am open to chiropractic, acupuncture, and herbs. I have not tried any of these yet.
