Elimination Diet for exzema while breastfeeding

My son has had exzema issues, it seems since the end of the first month....he's four months old tomorrow and it is worse, much much worse...to the point we think he has developed an infection on his face. He has some other milder spots on his arm and his chest as well, but the worse part is his poor little cheeks.

We went to the natural foods store and found a spray and another liquid drop form treatment and I feel good about them....also some probiotics for both of us because we suspect the acidity in his drool is irritating the area as well.....
my question is my diet. I had already noticed a link between me eating dairy and so I have eliminated that. Sources I have read suggest eliminating eggs, wheat, soy, and citrus. I've also been advised to avoid the nightshade vegetables for a bit just due to the acidity of the drool.....

I'm wondering what else others have had to eliminate for this type of problem? (exzema while breastfeeding) and for how long one typically goes before adding a food back in one at a time to determine the culprit(s).

Wow...this is frustrating...I thought I'd get some feedback by now...perhaps I should post this on a different thread?

Corn is the only other one missing from your list. It can take upwards of three months for the antibodies to leave your system, but you could start to see results in as little as two weeks. I always recommend putting one food back in at a time in case that way if there's another flare up, you'll know what the culprit is.
