I just sent DS upstairs to get dressed for piano class. He came back down stairs wearing underpants on inside out and a wizard hat.

awww that is soooo sweet.

it is little anecdotes like this that makes me miss the younger stage of my little girl.

there is such a sweetness to it. and omg they sooo crack you up.

i am caught between awww and : at his idea of dressing up.

At piano class, the subject of signing up for the fall classes came up, so I got the schedule and decided to talk to DS about it on the way home. So here's how the conversation went (once I convinced DS to stop being a parrot, which makes conversation difficult.)

me: Timmy do you enjoy your piano lessons?
DS: I LOVE piano class!!!
me: So, I'll sigN you up to take more classes in the fall.
DS: More classes in the fall, no thankyou.
me: But you said you loved piano class, don't you want to take more?
DS: I want to take more classes in the summer.

After a long discussion about seasons changing, and how we can't control or stop them, and talk of how many months till winter and how many days that comes to...

me: So, you would like to continue piano, yes?
DS: Yeah.

What a day it was.

I bet the piano teacher would understand. I've had kids come to daycare in something similar.

I'd totally wear a wizard hat to piano lessons too.

It wasn't so much the wizards hat or the inside out underwear that was a problem, it was the lack of a shirt, pants and socks that was the real problem.
