Well, its official...

We are now members of Team Blue on both counts! I have to say I'm actually really, really surprised...I would have sworn up and down that at least one baby was a girl. Shows what I know. LOL DP is over the moon, of course. I'll confess, I'm a little nervous just because raising boys will be totally foreign to me, but it'll be a blast in the end. Both babies looked great, both around 12oz and spent the entire ultrasound beating the snot out of each other. Seriously, it looked like an MMA match in there. I'll have to get pics scanned and posted tomorrow.

Congrats on 2 boys!!! I had 4 girls before I had my boy, and I was terrified when he came out with a penis hehe. I didn't have a clue how to raise a boy. But he has completely pleasantly surprised me. He's not stereotypical boy at all, and is so full of sweetness. I found it was much easier than I had imagined, to fall in love with a baby boy. He's so awesome, and this is my first pregnancy where I don't secretly dread having a boy, I know I'll be thrilled either way.

Thank you! Things are going surprisingly well, actually...even being twins, this pg has been much easier overall than my others (which were just horrible, TBH). Still sick, but not as often or as violently. Tired is pretty much a staple in my vocabulary now. Nothing compared to what it'll be when they get here, though, I'm sure. Just in the last couple of days, they seem to have had a growth spurt, so yeah, the belly is pretty noticeable now. Not at the 'OMG, you poor thing!' stage yet (have only gained 3lbs so far) but it'll get there, I'm sure! I really need to get another picture up soon.

Its nice to hear I'm not weird for being a little nervous. My cousin has three boys and I love them dearly and am around them all the time, but I'm just so used to my girls...I'll be changing her youngest, looking at the little boy bits thinking 'for some reason this is just weird!'. LOL I know I'll get used to it quick, though. Starting to get really excited!

Awwww! This post brings back memories... I remember having an u/s with my twins and finding out they were two boys. They are my first children so I had no experience with either, but I am an only child of a single mom, so boys were pretty foreign to me. I remember the first thing I thought was, "Do I teach them to pee standing up or sitting down????" I was 18w pregnant and THAT was my first thought.

i *really really really* wanted a girl with my 1st. He's a boy. And I am happy.

Then, I was THRILLED...but just the tiniest bit thinking it would've been fun for DS to have a brother too...when DD was born. (And I am still thrilled.)

Last time, I had really NO opinion but kind of wanted a boy just because it'd been awhile....he was a boy....and he is just SO SWEET. Seriously, this baby's first 2 word phrase was "thank you" and three word was "I love you" He's just sweet. The other thing he does that my other 2 did not was when we walk down the street, he says "Hi!" to everyone we see. BUT...only if he is the first one to speak!

This one is another boy though I would've sworn not also. I admit, I did want to end up with 2 and 2. But...knowing my other 2 boys and their sweetness...I am thrilled! it will be fine. You will be happy.
