I had to take a 10 day dose of antibiotics (really thought long and hard about how to avoid it but decided it was necessary for my own health). Now I think both dd (17 mos) and I are experiencing yeast infections. What fun...
Anyway, recommendations on ways to treat dd's? (I haven't noticed thrush in her mouth), just a different looking diaper rash. Mainstream advice is a topical antifungal cream in the area of the diaper rash? Thoughts on this course? Other options?
Also, any opinions on the safety of traditional yeast infection treatments (for me) in relation to if it is safe for dd (as a nursing babe).
