Immediate "Pregnant" result?

This morning (15 dpo) I took a clear blue easy digital pregnancy test. It says to dip the tip into a cup of urine for 20 seconds, then wait 3 minutes for a result. I dipped. I laid it down, and it popped up "pregnant" immediately. Is this a valid result? I was going to call CBE's hotline, but they don't open until 8:30. I apologize if this is in the wrong place, or this question seems weird. My husband and I have been trying, without success, to get pregnant for years. I'm still in shock. I can't believe it may have actually worked this time.

Um, I imagine it's valid.... If you have another test around, try it just to confirm. Personally, I've only seen the "Not Pregnant" result (never took a digital when I was pg with my son), so I can't say how quickly it comes up. But it sounds to me like you are pg! Congrats!

I know I've had an immediate positive on ovulation tests before. From what I understand about pregnancy tests, it's really unlikely to have a false positive if read before the end of the time limit.

Yes on my first paregnancy I used one of those test to confirm my dollar tree test and it popped up very quickly..............of course I was like 15 or 16 dpo so my hcg levels in my pee were quite strong. congrats!!

As long as the test is not expired, it sounds valid to me. The only time I ever got a false positive was on an expired test. I would be running to the store for more tests if I were you, just so I could line them up and gaze at them lovingly. Congrats!

My pregnant with ds came up like that. There was no waiting when the urine hit the strip there it was. I was only 12dpo at the time so 3 days before af was due.
