First PP AF

Was it heavier then normal? I just got my first PP AF since DD was born 9 months ago. I usually dont have very heavy periods, like only really bleeding the first 3 days and I never used more then 3 pads a day, then it was just real light another 3 days, like liner light. But Im on day 3 now and Yesterday I changed pads 8 times! I have never had it this heavy. Just wondering if its normally this heavy the first PP?? Will it get lighter after this one?

Yes mine was! I bled through my clothes!! I was shocked! Before I was on BCPs it was always heavy (but maybe not THAT heavy) and since I did not go back on BCPs after DD's birth it didn't get much lighter so I can't say if it will get lighter for you, since heavy is not your norm.

My firsts were a bit heavier than the norm for the first few days and I was crampier. But everything returned to some normalcy.
