I don't know what to do with the pictures.. - Page 2

I found more pictures.

However, today was much easier for me. I just tossed them without even really looking at them. No point in taking that stroll down memory lane. I am sure that I will occasionally stumble across one here and there. But the bulk of them are sitting in the garage waiting to be taken to the curb.

My wedding dress is going to be donated tomorrow. It was custom made and I am heavy, so hopefully some fluffy bride will find it, love it and use it.

Tomorrow is one year of freedom for me. I am anticipating it to be a difficult day, for me. I am going out to where I was married to take one last look. Then I am going to be done.

I really appreciate being able to post at MDC and not to be judged. One of my "friends" is going on about how stupid it is to throw out my pictures. Yes, like I really want to be reminded of the man who once wrapped his hands around my throat and choked me. Good times!

I don't have any children with him. I would really like to just forget the entire nine years that I wasted with him. Am I really that far off base for not wanting to look at a scrapbook full of times of me pretending to be happy because I didn't have the strength to stand up for myself? I don't think so. I suppose that I can not expect everyone to understand me. I just DO expect for people not to judge me. So I am thankful that I do not get that here.

Of course I don't advocate doing anything illegal, but isn't a ring made of precious metal from the earth anyway? It's not like you would be tossing in an empty fries container (or pouring crude oil in it). Sort of like giving the ring back to the earth mother. Who knows, maybe someone will find it and love it, after it has been cleansed with the stream's waters.

That is a beautiful way to think about it. I am sorry I missed this post, it did not pop up on my subscribed threads.

I know you've already put them in the trash, but if you happen to come across any others, you could bleach them and then throw away the blank paper.
