We are making these but I'm curious about the oil. It seems as though it might never really dry up and could possibly damage or leave an oil stain on the surface they sit on. We wanted to make them as gifts and don't want to have to go and buy a little plate for them to sit on.
So....does anyone know if the oil eventually does dry up enough to not leave a mark?
We made some and the paper is soooooo lovely! I hope they work out!
