Perfumes, and other everyday toxins dangerous during pregancy..

I found this fantastic article on many everyday home substances
that might turn potentially hazardous for the baby.
I wish I had came across it when I was preggo but it is not
too late for many of you Ladies who are.

It is amazing how things that seemingly are pleasing and
great might actually be harmful for the baby.

It is very eye openning:

Anybody seen this program on TV on harmful effects of perfumes? I have heard about it from someonein the park but she did not know the title or channel.

Wow! The part that scares me is that even if *you* (general you) try to avoid it, it is seeping into our water system and food system so it's basically unavoidable! Scary!

as sooon i was pregnant I ditched all my perfumes, and only use a natural deodorant, not because i was worried about the perfume is because i couldn' stand the smell any more, even once that are very nice. so i've been 9 months of perfume free... i cannot stand strong smells at all. and now I'm glad i did~ some perfume is really toxic.

I'm chemically sensitive. If someone in line in front of me is wearing fragrances I will have a migraine for at least an hour. It is miserable. At work they put air freshners in all the rest rooms. I have to wear a mask to go in there. I avoid the detergent isle, I send the hubby or hold my breath and run down the isle. I'm fearful that it will get worse and I will stop beathing or something.
