ItsUnfertility, And oh, my about that girl. I've never heard of anything like that.

Also many about seeing babies/pregnant women/etc at your job. We live in a town that has pregnant women EVERYWHERE. Seriously. Every time I take my son to the park. Pregnant women. Go to the grocery store. Pregnant women. Take my son to playgroup. Pregnant women. Visit my husband at work yesterday. Pregnant woman left the building as I came in. Shopping today at the mall. Pregnant women around every corner.

It's like they're stalking me.

Let's all get pregnant this cycle and be one of them!

I'm sorry ItsUnfertility. And that is weird about that girl! She definitely shouldn't have shared that with you!

I know about seeing pregnant woman everywhere- I guess I just notice them more...or maybe they are stalking us

I shared a little of what's going on with my co-workers because now I'm not feeling well and the discussion continued on until one of the girls went on to tell us that she is a medical mystery and has TWO reproductive systems. TWO uteri, TWO sets of fallopian tubes, FOUR ovaries and how she can get pregnant twice and be pregnant with two different babies at the same time... WTF? Like that's really helping knowing that you are double fertile and I'm sitting here going on a year of TTC.

Sorry, I just had to get that off my chest.
That is crazy, why do people have such a hard time just listening. They always have to chime in. I am sorry guys but if I am telling you my sad story about how broke I am and had to sell my favorite truck then some idiot says oh yeah we just bought a brand new one and its awesome(example)!!!! Shut your mouth if my husbands dies or something are you going to tell me how your husband is the best in the world and that here is still here with you.

I think this is why you have to take pschology in school so people can learn some MANNERS! Obviosly its not working.

Sweet.Bee I hear ya girl. I am actaully working a temp job to get caught back up and I am working for a maternity leave. So when I get there the girl I share an office with is prego She is 43 and accidently got prego, didn't even want another one. She just complains about it. And to top it off I am working downtown and I swear like 40% of the women population is prego.

But on a good note my cousin Rachael has been TTC for 2 years she has endrtmetrious(spelling) and pcos, she had surgery and all kinds of fertility treatments that didn't work. They took a bread this summer and BAM prego!!!! I am just so excited for her they have been through so much. I love good news like that.

Hey ladies, just checking in real quick since we are away on vacation. Still no AF and my temp is still up. Wondering if FF got my O date wrong. I'm posting from my phone so I can't add a link to my chart but it's in an earlier post if anyone wants to take a look. Would love any feedback.

And thanks for all of your support over the past few days, I'm so glad I found this group full of lovely ladies that just "get it".

Thanks for all the support... indeed - I will not feel any sadness when AF comes I will rejoice! And the 2ww means you've ovulated so more party times. Yay I'm glad I found this thread.

TX mom welcome welcome welcome!

good luck all. Still no AF but I did go to the doc last week and everything seems fine - I was overdue for a gyn appt so they did a full workup on me, drew blood to test thyroid, and did urine preg test (negative) still waiting for the blood test. However I will be shocked if that shows anything.

I relaxed a bit this weekend. Was able to kind of stop obsessing. I think it helped. Good food and exercise and sleep and relaxation till AF comes...

Is it possible that you ovulated on CD29?? I see that your temp was disturbed for some reason. Was it the time. Let me know I am very curious because your temps look great.
That's what I'm thinking, ZJM. And if that's the case, I hope the BD on that day was good enough because we had definitely taken a break the days before. Guess we'll just have to wait and see!
ItsUnfertilityI just stalked your chart and I think your O date is off too..I think your chart looks FANTASTIC! I think you might be around 10dpo..or so..so maybe, just maybe that BD right before did the trick! Hoping for you!

Anna Isn't it so frustrating to know something is wrong but not know what?!

AFM, well, I am very pleased and frustrated at the same time. I am now on CD1 which means this last cycle was 29 days!!!! That has not happened in over a year! Could be the spearmint tea? The only problem is, I didn't O. There is just no way. If you look at my chart you can see, it was totally anovulatory.

So one step forward I guess. But still, I'm on cycle 6 since Nov. 2009 and have only O'ed 3 times during that whole time. Ugh. I can't wait til we move and I can see an RE. (Probably a few more months away)

Hey, everyone! I'm on CD18 with more EWCM than I've ever had (yay, cranberry juice!), fertile cervix, and my ovary twinges are getting stronger. I think I may O soon. Yay!

Hope you are all well.

Yay Sweet Bee! Sending you lots of luck!

Sorry girls I don't post often, but believe me I am here lurking and reading your stories nearly everyday. I nod along and talk aloud to you guys cause a lot of what you are saying is ME!

But tonight I wanted to give you an update on me. I needed to share with someone who understands. July I did my 1st round of Clomid in over a year at 100mg for 6 days. Last week I went in for my progesterone check. Now, I am not as in touch with my body/signs as most of you are. I should be I know and wish I could be more like you all in trying to learn it, but I KNOW I did not ovulate this time. I had almost NO EWCM at all. Anyway, they called me today and told me that my levels were at 3.8 and I need to be a 10. So they are upping the Clomid for this next coming cycle to 150mg.

So I have a couple questions and I know I am probably going to sound dumb, but what are normal levels? What should they be if I have O'd? And does the Cranberry juice thing work? I have bought some and been drinking for the last week. Also purchased dried cranberries to eat. Would that be helpful?

Thanks guys and much love and prayers to all of you!
Sorry the clomid didn't work this cycle.

http://www.fertilityplus.org/faq/hormonelevels.html

7DPO progesterone is supposed to be at least 15.

I actually don't know what my level was last month, but I passed the progesterone test and they just repeated my clomid prescription at the same level.

Charting your temp will let you know before the bloodwork whether you ovulated (and help you go in at actually 8DPO if you did - its the only way I can tell when to go).

Ky Wildwood - I am so sorry to hear that. I really hope they can get your ovulation straightened out. We are here for you and hoping this next round of clomid helps!
Ky Wildwood, sorry I can't answer your Clomid questions, but I would like to say I love the cranberry juice. I already ovulate on my own, just kind of late, but my real concern has been my very scanty EWCM. This is my first cycle drinking cranberry juice, and I finally have tons!

It might be a good combo with Clomid, as people say that dries you up. I also try to drink a lot of water. Actually, all I'm drinking right now are cranberry juice and water.

BUMPIES for the front page...

I'm still waiting for AF but blood work all came back normal... not preg just normal.

I'm actively trying to deal with the emotions this is causing in me - my body is failing me, my body is somehow expressing a fear of pregnancy, I'm somehow keeping myself from getting AF...

Having cramps for 3 weeks now is so wildly unpleasant and my emotions are a wreck.

So what's the worst that can happen? After a year of no cycle lasting over fifty days, here I am at day 57 or so... my first cycle ttc I freaked myself out so hard that I will never get my period again and will have to adopt?

I am not opposed to adoption.

I just can't believe that this is happening every day is like a bad dream. I'm going to try some meditation tonight. Every time I go to pee is a wild disappointment at this point. Like a bfn during 2ww I'm not even kidding.

I'm eating well and exercising and sleeping. Had a massage. Trying to relax.
Oh Annaconda, I'm sorry you are feeling down. Glad you are trying to relax- I need to do the same! A massage sounds wonderful!

I got the call today about my bloodwork. Not sure what to think of it- my fsh was at 5, lh at 17.7 with total testosterene slightly elevated at 54. She immeadiately said that I have PCOS, and should come in to get started on clomid. I made an appointment for next week, but I need to gather my thoughts first. I have so many concerns about the PCOS diagnosis. I am at a good weight, no other symptoms like excessive hair or anything, and my periods were normal before I started birth control 5 or 6 years ago. Also, the blood work was done in the middle of my cycle; granted, I had not ovulated, but it wasn't at CD 3.

I did start the provera...I just hate all this medicine; I wish it could just happen naturally!

Part of me wants to start clomid, because I get excited to think I may actually ovulate, but part of me feels I should just wait a few more months and track some more cycles (no matter how long they drag out).

Lauren I am so sorry to hear that. You may or may not have PCOS, but on the good side if you are a healthy weight and you had normal cycles or are taking birth control it sounds like you are keeping your PCOS under wraps. PCOS can be bad for TTC and if you do not have some kind of birth control to keep your cervix in a healthy stage you can in the future get cervical cancer, but it sounds like you take good care of yourself so I do not see it causing problems for you.

Here is what I have found so far that the upside to having PCOS is.................... Ovarian cancer is the most deadly amoung women right now, I have an aunt that was just diagnosed. But since most women with PCOS do not ovulate it lowers your chances of getting ovarian cancer(which is usually caused by overactive ovaries). But on the downside if you do not use some kind of birth control or homone suplement when you do not have a regular cycle your cervix linning just keeps getting thicker and thicker (it will eventually bleed out, kinda really long explanation) and this can cause cerviccal cancer if it goes on for really long periods of time.

Ok, ladies don't kill me I know there are many more other things with PCOS, but for me being diagnosed at the age of 16 these are the things that worry me most and that also make me feel good about it. I always try to find the positive. Yeah we have PCOS and it can cause major fertility problems, but it could still be worse.

I hope this offered some encouragment for you. It is scary but just get informed dont let it run your life. I have had one beautiful pregnancy and it did take about 16 months but it was worth the wait. Stay positive and hopefully this clomid will do it for you.

Anna I am so sorry you are having such a hard time right now!!! That sounds so frustrating. Have you thought about doing acupuncture? I found it to be extremely relaxing, it regulated my cycles, and that's how I got DS!!! (THe only reason I'm not doing it now is because we moved and there is no acupuncture in our little town : (

Lauren hugs to you too! I'm going to second my vote for acupuncture to you too. It regulated my cycles without drugs, and I got a baby. That's pretty good results.

I am super scared of drugs of any kind myself. I told DH the other day that I will do Clomid, IF after we move and try acupuncture again and it doesn't work. I'm hoping it will work and I won't have to do Clomid. Ugh. I wish I could just get pregnant without intervention.

ZoeJanesMommy I think it is great that you have such a positive attitude about PCOS. I still am quite positive I have it. I just have to get a doc to be willing to test me for it. I also think it's great you have known for so long. I feel like ob/gyns should be alot more proactive about women with irregular cycles rather than just pushing the pill. I mean, why did no ob.gyn ever try to find out what the underlying issues are for all of us, until we are trying desperately to have a baby, and we're still pretty much having to be our own health advocate. YKWIM?

Everybody - I have a question. Just thinking about our long cycles..does anybody else have SUPER LOW basal body temps? Mine are really low. I was reading yesterday about thyroid issues and adrenal issues and it said that if your temps are consistently under 97.8 that you probably have adrenal or thyroid issues, which obviously can cause long irregular cycles. Just curious.

Thanks guys...I am definitely going to read all the info I can get my hands on before my appt Wednesday so that I can be my own health advocate, as you said lilmom.

And yes my temps are low! 97.8 is a high temp for me...I usually only get above that for a couple days maybe after ovulation...which obviously, I don't see that often!
