Hi Mammas...Just got my perfect fit fuzzi bunz and am eager to try out...

Stupid question. Do you have to change the entire diaper each time your LO pees- (I know you would for a soild)-- or can you change the insert once before changing and laundering the entire diaper and insert?

Just curious....I am obviously a newbie to this!

Nope, ya gotta change the whole thing! There is pee on the fleece so its too dirty to reuse.

Yup, I'd say to change it too since the fleece layer that's touching the baby will be peed on. If it was like an All-in-two diaper where the insert is the thing against the baby's skin and the only thing wet (in some cases) then you could just change it.

In a pinch I have used my Fuzzi Bunz like a cover and put a prefold between the baby and the fleece inner on the Fuzzi Bunz (not inside the pocket). You don't get the stay-dry feel, but as long as you change frequently enough you can just replace the prefold and not have to change the whole thing. I had to do this when my son was between sizes and I hadn't bought enough larges.

Kind of turns it into an all-in-two like the previous poster mentioned.
