Supplies

Ok....so as I said in another post....I am going to start homeschooling my son this fall. We will be doing a mix from JK -Grade 1. (Looking at the Kindergarten curriculum books I have come across he has surpassed much of it)....I guess we are looking at an Eclectic sort of teaching....lots of play time....but I want him to have some structure and schedule as well to prepare him for PS in a couple years (likely to enter in 2012)

What I am looking for are ideas of supplies I should stock up on in our studio/classroom
I have crayons, paint, construction paper, various crafty stickers and things, sketch pads, computer and printer, Chalkboard/White board easel from Ikea, various fun grade appropriate workbooks.....
What other things do people stock up on?
Any and all ideas welcome!!

Here's a recent thread about what to get for a K student:

Well I am not a homeschooler, but in addition to all the great supplies listed in the other posts, I would recommend white board markers in all the great colors, molding clay, sentence strips, index cards, at least one clip board (because it's nice to do work on the floor and not have to hold your papers still) and a nice set or two or three of magnetic letters. I am not talking about the dollar store letters. You can find really great sets from www.reallygoodstuff.com. In fact they have a ton of great things!

I say get a small set of crayons and stock up on colored pencils instead. Kindergarteners prefer the pencils to the crayons. Much more sophisticated. .

Oh and you have to have a nice magnetic surface for those great magnetic letters. LOL!

We have a Scholar's Choice http://www.scholarschoice.ca/ nearby and I love it.....but there is just so much to choose from...I'd love to buy everything lol but that just isn't feasible!
