We just bought our first house a few months ago and we are at last free of coin operated laundry! So, like any normal person with a new (to me) washing machine, I decided to try out cloth diapering because I don't get enough contact with human urine.
I am loving the fuzzibuns I have on trial from our local cloth diapering store even more than I thought I would. They are not kidding when they say the fleece feels dry! But I am hung up on whether to go with the one-size or the perfect size dipes.
My daughter is 13 months old, 18 pounds and 29 inches tall. She fits beautifully into the medium size fuzzibuns; they're trim and absorbent without being bulky. The one-size dipes work very well too but they are quite a bit bulkier in the backside and more expensive. So, does it seem likely that my daughter will actually grow out of the perfect size fuzzibuns before she hits potty training? And would the one-size be a better investment in case later small persons are larger than my current bird-boned child? I can't imagine diapers surviving through so much use.
