I don't think you O'd until cd14 (or even as late as cd18?? But that is a stretch)
Smyling, it really does look like you O'd, so I guess pregnancy is a possibility. The BD on day eight makes it pretty likely, I'd say.

AFM: CD 28 here...very high temp and something like O pain yesterday...so as long as my temps stay high, I can count is my first pp o! Yay for charting! My other pp cycles had an o of 27-30 days, so that would make sense.

I think your O day is right.. looking at the previous 6 temps, as well as looking at your previous month chart and coverline.

I guess if it was a later O, you wouldn't be late, but on the other hand, your BFNs might have been early for a definitive result -- the last time my was late i made a whole chart -- if I O'd this day, then the HPT would have shown it by this day, if I O'd this day then I will be late by this day. . .

Hope the worrying isn't too bad -- are you strongly hoping one way or the other?

Haha ya I haven't written it down cuz I've been too busy but I've been going over all that in my head. Part of me is kinda hoping I am pg but with everything going on that makes it important to wait I know it'd be pretty bad if I was. I just want to know because a lot of long term plans would be totally changed if I was.
My coverline used to be 97.3, but since we moved to this new place it's been anything up to 98.0 for some reason. My chart looks convincing, but I just don't trust that my O date is accurate because of that. I guess I'll take the other test in the morning or the morning after, if it's still negative I'll believe it this time

Finally have all ewcf, instead of a mix of creamy/ew. Had a migraine yesterday and the breakout is clearing up. I'm going to guess O is around the corner, unless my body is off this month. And my luck-dh is so not in the mood for what ever reason. I felt like I was being chased around by a high school boy on Sunday, and then nothing. Sigh. He's been pretty busy with work though and tired, so...

I need to catch up on everyone here.

Today I'm going to see Eat Pray Love with some other h/s moms. I really need a mom's night out.

MW-how did your appt go?

Smyling ~ Your O day looks pretty solid to me. I've been trying to convince myself that it could have been 2 days later but it's just not working. Stranger things have happened, I guess.

With the midwife? It went fine. It was just a meet and consult so nothing was done except sending the referral to the MFM. I haven't heard from them yet. I called at 4:00 to discover they close at noon on Fridays. Oh well. It's not really critical since there isn't really anything they could do for me at this point if I were to start to m/c.

I had another day with a high temp, so it looks like I o'd. Woo! Sounds weird, but I like knowing that my body is working, even if the O was fairly delayed. I told DH we could have sex tomorrow night as long as my temp was still high. Since I o'd on day 27 this cycle, I'll start abstaining at day 20 next cycle, I guess.
Be careful with counting days. That's almost a surefire way to end up pregnant if you don't have super regular cycles, which it sounds like you don't. The only way to be sure is by tracking CF. If you have any CF other than your BIP before day 20 then you need to start abstaining then, regardless of CD.

You can only use Doering with at least 6 recorded cycles.

I will check for cervical mucus, too. I'm also basing this on three cycles from when I ttc DS2. I will def look for cm, too, though. I told DH my plan this morning, too, and he was pretty leery. He was saying we should abstain for more days just to make sure, but he's really anti-baby right now, so he's paranoid. Me? I wouldn't be upset if I were to get pregnant, but I'm trying to respect his wishes, too.

Katie: For Doering, you really ought not consult charts from before a pregnancy. I don't think your DH is being paranoid. If you don't have 6 recorded cycles, you should use a different method for determining the end of phase I. If you and your DH aren't on the same page w/pregnancy and you call the shots using relaxed rules and end up pg, he isn't going to trust the method.

What was your normal cycle pattern pre-pregnancy, doesn't dictate what it will be like after. The body sort of resets itself -which is how some can end up with secondary fertility etc. So I wouldn't base your abstinence on 1 recorded cycle ovulation day unless hubby doesn't mind an oops.
katie ~ I agree with Shannon and Jenn. At this point you should really be abstaining the entire first part of your cycle until you can get a really good handle of CF and you have at least 3 ovulatory cycles completely charted. I don't know that I would even be comfortable using the First 5 Days Rule yet. After getting all of that down, you can start relying on CF to figure out when you are safe and not at the beginning of your cycle. Then, like Shannon said, after having 6 fully charted ovulatory cycles, you could start using Doering.

By the way, since when the earliest possibility of O question has come up a few times, I thought I'd pass this tidbit of info along. Several women on FF said they or someone they know has Oed as early as cd9 on a regular basis.

Thanks for your insight, ladies.

MW: Yay for your milestone! Your temps look nice, too!

BFS: Enjoy the 2ww. . .

Smiling: Any news? How can I stalk your chart if you don't put information up. . .

AFM: I keep opening my FF, as if that is going to make my temp suddenly shift. O where are you?! First I wait for O, I wait for AF. . .

I'M SO CONFUSED!!!

First, here's my chart: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/2ab1c6

Temp dip today, but only about halfway to my normal CL. This afternoon I started spotting, but it was just a tiny bit of brown and didn't pick up at all. I'm wearing a tiny liner to bed, that's how light it is. The reason I'm confused is, I've never started AF like that ever in my life, it's always super heavy right away, and I've never had brown discharge until the spotting at the end of my period. Also, I POAS yesterday, and it was negative again. So it seems like it shouldn't be implantation spotting, but it doesn't seem like my period at all. I was relieved when I thought I was on CD1, but now I just don't know what's going on again... and the more I think about it the more I hope I'm not pg.
Smyling ~ I can't tell you what the spotting is about but I think you can be pretty confident at this point that you are not pg. Even if you ear only 14dpo today, I think it would be pretty unusual for you to have not gotten a bfp yesterday at 13dpo.
