Ugh! This makes me unbelievably angry! I do not feel like I can trust my body AT ALL! I should probably take this over to the loss forum, but geez! If I did in fact ovulate on CD 10, that will just astound me. How could my body possibly think that it would be o.k. to create another baby TEN DAYS after taking away the last baby?!?

Annie ~ You don't have confirmed O yet. And, I think temps are probably not reliable right now. So, it could mean nothing.

My temps have been weird. It is either 97.3 or 97.7 no matter what time I take it.



By the way, I have a CF question. I've had very thin, white, sort of runny CF. Would you call that creamy or watery? It doesn't run off my fingers or anything but it's not thick like the pics of creamy in TCOYF. I'm thinking maybe the skim milk description fits best. So, that would be creamy, right?

Thanks for talking me off the ledge MW! You're probably right about my temps not being reliable right now.

As for your CF question, for me, I would call that watery. But that's because I know my creamy really does look like lotion. I guess it depends on what your creamy normally looks like.

hehe, ok, I've got 2 different votes. I don't know what my creamy is. I don't usually get creamy that I can ever tell. I don't usually get watery, either. I can only tell sticky and ewcf.

Sounds lotiony to me, so I would label it creamy. To me, watery is completely clear and almost feels like pee, sweat, or water in your undies. Anything tacky is sticky, but if it's got some substance to it (just a bit) and feels at all slick I call it creamy. HTH!

Annie! Step back off the ledge, until you have a confirmed O I wouldn't freak out yet. It could just be an unusual high temp thrown in for good confusing measure.

I haven't checked in in a while so I just wanted to post my chart. I don't think anything is going on yet but we dtd yesterday before I checked my cervix and then it was open later that day when I checked it. I don't have any signs of mucus at all. Am not sleeping well so my temps are all over the place and don't always temp bcs I don't always wake up in the same room as my thermometer.
I had a few questions:
-I do not temp at the same time every day, how do I change it on ff so that the circles are solid and not hollow?
-My last chart isn't showing up all the way on ff just the end of it, it used to (about a wk ago, or less). How do I get the whole thing to show up? It is an interesting chart so I would like to have it.

Well, regarding the hollow circles, just set a default time, and if you take your temp w/in an hour of that, don't change the time. For instance, my default time is 6:30, but I actually take my temp anywhere from 6:30 to 7:00ish.

AFM: Whew! I don't think those high temps from the past few days were because of O. Major temp drop this AM. So I think it's just my body still trying to regulate after the m/c.

Oh, tg, Annie.

I don't think my chart is going to be very reliable. Even if my temps would otherwise be accurate, I've been waking really early and not able to get back to sleep. I've been temping when I first wake and then again as close to my usual time as I can, usually sometime between 6 and 6:30. My temps have been pretty much flat at 97.3. Very strange. I considered that my thermometer might be messed up but it gives me different temps at different times. I don't know if my 6-6:30 temps are good BBTs or if that's my body temp after lying in bed for a hour or two without sleeping.

I'm not sure what I should do. Should I use the temps from when I first wake up regardless of the time? That could be anywhere from around 4:30 to 6:30. Or should I keep using my temps from 6-6:30 even if I haven't actually been asleep?

theboysmama ~ There are two ways to get solid rather than open circles on FF. Either temp within the same half hour range every day (TCOYF says it's sufficient to temp within the same hour but FF only gives you a half hour) or adjust your temps. I don't recommend adjusting temps at all, usually. A few temps taken outside the normal time shouldn't affect chart interpretation but adjusting several temps can make it inaccurate.

If you have a default time set in FF, you could change that to include more of your temps if the time has changed. For example, if your default time has been set at 6:00 but you find that you most often take your temp between 6:15 and 6:45, changing the default time to 6:30 should change the s/w to include all your temps taken between 6:15 and 6:45. Does that make sense?

Or, you can do what I do and not set a default time. That way FF will determine it based on your most common temp time. My open and closed circles change periodically depending on when I take my temps.

I don't know how to make it show your entire chart. I think the problem is that it's so long it just can't fit the whole thing on the viewing page. That doesn't explain why it was there before, though. Unless...is the chart longer now since you put in the bleeding from your miscarriage? That might be the problem. I don't know of a way to shorten it.
