Wow, just when I thought it was getting quiet around here. . . this is exciting stuff!

Toolip: I'm a day late and a dollar short, but I agree that you probably would have been fine. The time before you O is always somewhat risky, any way you slice it.

annie: talk about a roller coaster.

Sigh....I am not whatevering until NEXT month! LOL
(I did get my chocolate pudding today! )
I know triphasic doesn't mean pg per se. I don't have any other symptoms. Although i don't have my usualy AF symptoms either (like breaking out like a teenager). Hmmmmm.
I predict a temp drop tomorrow or the next because I plan on going camping and of course AF will show up and ruin it for me.

Bwahaha, Jenn! I'm evil aren't I. You got your temp drop. Whew!

katiedid ~ Where's your CF data? You really need to be recording CF data so you can know when you are potentially fertile, unless you are abstaining until after O.

annie ~ You got solid crosshairs. Are those new? I don't recall seeing them last time I looked (yesterday?).

First of all - CONGRATS MW

I haven't had any time to go over to the other thread and read lately................I can't BELIEVE you didn't tell us over here

I got solid crosshairs because I put in my CM data to the best of my ability (like I said, it was a bit semen obscured until about CD14).

Thanks, annie. I didn't know if it was appropriate or not for me to say anything here since this is supposed to be for avoiding. I know everyone says it's ok but I feel funny talking about getting or being pg on here.

Ha! It just saves us the trouble of stalking! We're all here to learn about how to read charts -- what we DO with the knowledge is a personal choice. "Use the force for GOOOOOOD"

Maybe we should just name the thread Chart Chat and be done with it

Well, I'm kinda wondering if I got too lax...This is my first pp cycle, and since my pp cycles last time had an o day at like 30, I just assumed I could dtd whenever. Now I'm nervous that maybe I o'd at a normal time, and if I did, I could easily be pregnant. This morning, I had major nausea, and I've had some cramping. I'm trying to ignore it, but I just keep looking at my chart wondering if I really messed up!!

katie ~ I don't see a thermal shift and those don't look like post O temps to me.
Yup, Katie, I don't see anything to worry about. Doesn't look like you've O'd.
Yes, but I also didn't temp for a week, lol! It's all in my head, I'm sure...
I think I started having the first of my fertile mucus, so maybe I'll o soon when I thought I would.

FF is totally confusing me this month. I always have my temp shift on cd 17 or 18, but this month it says it was on cd 12. I thought it was maybe around cd 15 or later for some reason. Anyone care to give their input?

I'm trying to figure out what's going on with my body because the last 2-3 days I'm suddenly super tired and my nipples hurt SO BAD when BFing. Thought I could have thrush but I don't see any white film on them or in DD's mouth. Dunno if it'd be too early to get any pregnancy signs, if I did O on CD 12 then I'm 9 days past O, so I dunno. We dtd on CD8 so pregnancy is possible if I O'ed early.

That looks like a pretty obvious thermal shift to me and your temps look like they are going triphasic.

I used to get really sore nipples after O while nursing ds2. I thought I had thrush, too, and had gotten really frustrated that I couldn't completely get rid of it. We lived in HI then and I assumed it was because it's always so humid and wet there. I didn't realize it was just related to my cycles until the same thing happened after my cycles returned while nursing ds3.

That's a textbook thermal shift. And yeah, your temps look triphasic. Which may or may not mean anything! But BD CD 8 is certainly near enough to O to get pg.

I'm sooo confused on how on earth I O'ed early... I've NEVER done that before. On the other hand though, the reason we do fertility charting is to avoid pg while being open to life if we are meant to have another at this time. One of the ladies here, don't remember who, is always saying if it's meant to be, that child will find a way to get here. I have such mixed feelings about a pregnancy at this time though. Deep breaths...

Oh and I thought a triphasic pattern is normally an early pregnancy sign?

Sort of. I think TCOYF says that almost all pg charts will look triphasic. However, that doesn't mean that triphasic temps mean you are pg. For one thing, according to TCOYF (if I remember correctly), it's not considered truly triphasic unless and until the temps stay up for at least 18dpo. If your temps start go triphasic and then you get or your temps drops, it's not triphasic.

Talk about being confused about Oing early, did you look at my chart from this cycle? I didn't temp the first 2 weeks because I never temp during and I usually don't temp during the first week after that or not until I start getting ewcf because I usually get about a week of ewcf before I O. I had started temping right after when the maca seemed to move my O day up. Even then, though, I didn't O before cd20. Take a peek.

I could have wrote this!! Down to the - WTF were you doing Oing that early stupid body?!?!?!?!?!

I may even be 9DPO (I am between 9-12DPO due to not so clear thermal shift)

I do plan to pee on a $tree stick today if I can get to the store. I PIC this morning and it is sitting in my bathroom cabinet (gross!!) do I have to stick it in the fridge or anything? (grosser!!)

I think it's okay to sit out. I hope it turns out the way you hope!

I get triphasic ones a lot -- 4 days before O is definitely dangerous, but not a done deal -- are you going to POAS?

Good luck to both of you! I'll be here ing

I just wanted to intro myself
I am melissa. Mom of 4 on earth, 6 in Heaven. We are currently charting to avoid pregnancy, while we decide if we will have any more kiddos.
This is my first month charting, after my 15 week loss on June 25. This cycle started on July 30.
