Oh my gosh! "What we have here is a healthy, developing pregnancy." The sweetest words I ever heard. SUCH a weight off. CRL is 4mm. Measuring just about exactly 6 weeks.
I could see flickering on the screen. The doctor said, "It does look like we have some cardiac activity," but she was reluctant to dwell on it because she said at this stage it's so difficult to sort out what's baby and what are my blood vessels. She said it's too early to determine viability, but that everything is looking exactly as it should--measuring on target, yolk sac, gestational sac, etc. Back in two weeks for my first "official" OB visit (this was just to rule out another molar pregnancy).
I was hoping to hear, "Heartbeat is X BPM, you're measuring ahead..." but I respect that my doctor didn't want to get too far ahead of ourselves. She said "This is good news," and I am just going to dwell on that.
Stayseeliz---thinking of you! Try to stay distracted--I ended up going out to play trivia last night and it helped a lot...
And yeah, feeling down physically DEFINITELY affects mood.
