Thanks for the new thread, Teetina!

I was just stalking Shabbers (like I always do ) and she got a positive blood test on July 23rd!!! Shabbers, what's going on?!
Thank you Teetina! I'm sorry I kind of let my threadkeeping duties slide the last week--I didn't move Neuromancer or add the new folks. I can still do that in the old thread if you want to just cut and paste again. Let me know.

Hmmm--interesting news about Shabbers! I hope she pops by for an update!

Tear--how are you doing, sweetie?

I'm CD15 here and have been having fertile CM since day 13! This is very early for me--usually I don't get large amounts of EWCM until at least day 17 or 18, so I'm hoping this means I'm gearing up for an earlier O! Isn't it great when fertile times coincide with weekends? Also, got a new thermometer that I think I can trust more than my crappy Walgreen's one. And there are 25 pregnancy tests for $10 ($5 without shipping) on their way to me (Amazon). Somehow knowing the tests are there for me makes me feel a little more relaxed about the 2WW?

Hope you all are having lovely weekends.

Just stopping by to wish you all luck. I'm still pregnant (so far; fingers crossed), but will be lurking and rooting you on. I'm not complaining about not being moved, though, I promise!

Stop by any time! I love it when grads come by to offer encouragement and keep in touch.

Congratulations Shabbers! I can't wait to hear the story of how you told your DP.

Well, I'm really relieved this thread is here because right after I spent all the time editing and then submitted it, MDC went down for maintenance lol. I was like.... AHHHHHH, I need a coffee now.

Blanca, I've never been threadkeeper before, I hope I did it right. I didn't know what the white numbers after everyone's name meant so you'll have to fill me in on that and whether I need to change any of them. I added the new folks that I saw, hopefully I didn't miss anyone. Please let me know if you haven't been added to the list or if your chart or other info is missing and I'd be glad to add it.

Neuromancer, I didn't add you to the graduates yet because I wasn't sure if you felt ready. Also I didn't know which month you would want for your due date. Just let me know when, no rush though.

I was checking up on some of our graduates this morning and I found some good news from PixieLittle and Taylah...

His blood sugar is consistently reading low so they took him to the combo nursery/NICU last night to hopefully get that stabilized. I have basically had him latch on 2 times but he was pretty out of it and didn't get much. Hoping that will change as I can move around better and have him in room with me.

Pics and all the details soon!
Congratulations Taylah and PixeLittle!

As for me, my temperatures are still down and still no AF. Very weird. Is it normal to hover right above the coverline for so many days before? Before my miscarriage, I had my temp drop either the day before or in the first few days of bleeding. AF, if you're coming, just get on with it! I need to find something engaging to do today so I don't keep dwelling on it. Maybe a time-sucking computer game.

How are you all doing this weekend?
Congrats Taylah and PixieLittle, indeed!

Teetina--I don't actually understand the white numbers myself. It's something Adorkable did and I just ignored them because that's my usual approach to problems and/or challenges. Ha. I think it had something to do with how frequently people were posting or something.

How many days has it been since your temp drop? Could it be your thermometer is being wonky? The longest I've gone b/w temp drop and AF is two days.

For time sucks--uh--have you seen http://www.sporcle.com/? It's great for when I'm trying to write a paper but don't want to actually work.
The white numbers indecated what month that person last posted in these threads during. I would update them at the end of every month ( so change everyone that posted last month to a 7 for example)
I found this is the only reasonable way to figure out who dropped away. Otherwise it would take days to look thru 6 months of junk to figure stuff out.
If it was not done last month and you want to continue it, I would sugest looking thru both months and getting it up to speed so it did not miss anyone.
I then would just count back and folks with numbers over 6 months I would let slide off the list. (always checking to see if they are preggo first as often that is why the disappear!

One of the reasons that I link to profiles in the main list is to make this kind of friendly stalking easy. I usually always tell if they are preggo by looking at their recent posts and if they are in a DDC or something.

I personally never added folks to the graduates list till they asked or they disapered for more than a month.
I also at the beginning of each month would check the profiles of anyone due soon and see if we had births and let folks know that and also move those names to the " names only" large paragraphed list for long term rememberance. Sometimes ladies leave MDC without ever telling of their birth, if I don't hear anything to the contrary I would move folks anyway to the birthed lists once they were a month past their EDD month.
The years on the graduates are always the year they got the BFP, not the year they gave birth btw.

Of course there is nothing that says the way I did it is " right" it's just what I came to after thread keeping for what can be argued as way to long, but I have my BFP and my twins growing now so I can just shut up and let you wonderful ladies take over!

All the baby dust in the world, I'll always watch over this group been here too long not to.

Good luck, Blanca! It makes it so nice when the BD days are on a weekend, so you don't have to pencil time in to BD. Hope you're having fun!

I hope everyone else is doing well, haven't been able to keep up properly lately.

my first 2ww! :)

Thanks for the new thread. I'm still newish and have a hard time keeping up with everything on the boards, but now that I'm so excited I hope I am more active!

With my inlaws visiting it was really hard to find the time to BD. We weren't supposed to start to try until after next cycle, but cycle day 18 had a positive OPK test and a free moment. Since this is my 2nd cycle off bc pill, I'm not too sure of my charting and I wasn't so sure about the OPK - if the line was really dark enough? But it was gone the next day. I'm not stressing.

So. I think I should know by August 10th (when I expect AF to come). I'll be away for a work thing that week, so if AF doesn't come, we will POAS on Aug 14th together. He's hoping it doesn't happen because we wants a month of me demanding Baby dances!

Congrats to all graduates. I'm now understanding the excitement. It must be crushing for those who know AF is coming. My friends IRL have either had it happen 1st month or waited years!
Hey everyone!

We're exhausted Since starting to chart last month, I've realized i have *no* idea when I ovulate, even thouugh my cycle has been totally consistent for years. As a result, we're having sex every day!

It's just the second month that we're trying, but still, it's been really strange to take a million OPK and never get a positive (ran out of the expensive digital ones today, gonna switch to cheaper ones). Based on charting, last month FF said I ovulated Day 13 (earlier than I thought I would, so we didn't have sex at the right time). This month, there's been no sign of ovulation and we're on Day 19 (later than i thought I would).

Because I'm new to this, it's more interesting, and less disappointing. But I am totally starting to get why this can be so difficult emotionally

Good news is that we're getting really creative in bed
post #15 of 144
I gotta agree with Fertilemyrtle about one thing...TTC has done amazing things for my sex life with DH! It was fine before, but I think just having to talk about our parts more often and keep things interesting during the O-days, it's gotten to be more like it was when we were first together. Fun!

I'm CD16, here, and no positive OPKs yet. This is my second month on 150mg of clomid. Last month, I had a CD14 ultrasound that showed a big ol' follicle, and then got a positive OPK on CD15. I have EWCM, now, and I feel bloated like I did last month around CD15, but still no smiley face on that OPK!

The way my doc does it is she monitors with US in the first month on clomid and once the dosage is perfected, I'm sort of on my own. So since it worked last month, I haven't been getting ultrasounds this month. But should I ask for one? I know I'm being ridiculous about being ONE day behind last month, but I'm dying to know if there's a follicle in there! Any other clomid users with advice or stories?

I wouldn't worry about not ovulating at the same time as you did in a previous Clomid cycle. My first Clomid cycle I O'd on day 22? 25? somewhere in there. The second cycle I O'd on CD 15 (which was very exciting). So, it can vary.

Another thing--sometimes if you are only using OPKs once a day you can miss your LH surge. I buy cheapies from Amazon and use them twice a day, at around noon and then just before bed (and three times a day when they start darkening/get closer to positive). Good luck!

Kinza, your pep talk must have been an omen. CD17 and I got a big smiley face on my OPK, today! Woohoo!

Yay! I'm CD 17 too. CM this morning was sort of half creamy, half eggwhite--no where near as liquid as it was in the previous four days. Going by past patterns I'm guessing I probably O'd today, but only temps will tell. We got in a BD tonight just in case. So we hit CDs 13, 15, and 17 this month.

p.s. I got my order of 25 hpts in the mail yesterday. The stash is both reassuring--I can test to my heart's content--and terrifying: what if I go through them all without a BFP?

I had 4 days of low temperatures just above my coverline, but AF is finally here. My thermometer seems okay though. I've tried it other times of the day and it gave out reasonable temperatures, so I'm pretty sure it wasn't that. That was really weird, I hope it was just a fluke cycle, and not some sign of a problem.

Tear, I see AF came for you finally as well. Cheers to a new cycle for us! Go, go spring babies!

Blanca, thanks for the sporcle link. Those were fun little quizes. I thought I was a big The Office fan but I was proven wrong lol. I'm gonna have to bookmark that on my phone for when I'm stuck waiting around somewhere and bored.

Adorkable, your white number method seems to make a lot of sense. It would be hard to figure out who is still around and who isn't otherwise. I will update them as soon as a get a chance to. Thanks for the tutoring!

Bolobear, have fun on your trip, don't work too hard!

Baby dust to those who just ovulated.
Exciting! I got my first smiley face on my digital OPK! I've used almost 40 tests (this month tested 2x/day) and just thought that they didn't work for me. I'd decided to go with cheaper tests next time around if there was a next time.

So, I just got a positive on CD21 at 7pm. Usually I test at 2pm but forgot to POAS this afternoon when I got home from work. I'm curious as to which day I will actually ovulate and then how long the Luteal phase will be. I'm taking B6 to encourage a long enough phase for a baby to stick. Normally my cycles average 31 days, so we'll see. Last month I had a 20 day cycle - first time that ever happened. So this cycle might be a little off because of that.

Right now, we're just both excited to DTD for the next few days! And I'm going to test tomorrow morning to see if I get a positive in the morning (the test instructions suggest only testing once per day with FMU, but I've read that can prevent you from ever getting a positive).

Squee!
