If your not on the list it's because you haven't posted at least 1 time since June.
The little * next to a name is just my way of keeping track if someone posts at least 1 time during the month.

afm...cd3...Ithink...lol
Hi ladies! I need to be removed from the thread as DD weaned about a week ago. Good luck to everyone!
Thank goodness for a new month!! Feeling a lil down right now, my SIL is going in next week for her u/s and to find out the gender of their 4th baby : ). Our cycles both started the same day that month, march 28th. We're still trying......

I guess I'm only 6 dpo since I wouldn't be 11 dpo without either a bfp or af.....so much for an earlier o lol! But I'll settle for day 20 . Wishin ff would've put mu cl a lil lower though

Best wishes to those in the tww and get busy to those still waiting for O!

back again. I'm getting really discouraged. Still no BFP still no AF having a hard time figuring out if I'm O'ing. Going to the birth center next week to get some advice. I have PCOS so maybe it's time for clomid or something....

Hi everyone. Sadly, I'm back again. I lost my little strawberry 4 weeks ago at 11.5 weeks. Still nursing DD (2.5) 2-3 times/day. AF surprised me today, so, we're waiting to be ready. We're probably going to try next cycle.

Hugs C...I hope it happens for you soon. Let me know if they tell you anything other than weaning/nightweaning...I had asked back in March (?) and they didn't have anything else to add. I'm in the same boat-no AF, can't tell if I've O'd.

I've been lurking a bit-not quite ready to actively TTC but getting impatient to. My DD (19 months) still nurses 4-6+ times a night and 4-6 times daily and we're trying to nightwean and having NO luck, which is very frustrating.

Good luck to everyone this month!

Wendy: I'm so sorry for your loss!!! Hugs!!

AFM: Cycle day 6 and starting to get a faint line on an OPK so I think I'm going to O a lot earlier this cycle than last. I went to my birth center's annual picnic today and chatted w/my midwife about my short LP. She thought it was more a factor of my cycles starting up again than the nursing and said to give it 2 more cycles then call her and we'd talk about herbs to take. Didn't ask what they are and didn't tell her i'm already taking vitex and B6 so perhaps that is what she would reccomend anyway. But hopefully the only call I'll be needing to make to her will be to tell her I'm pregnant!

I hope August is a lucky month for all of us!!

carhootel - I have pcos as well. My doc gave me provera to induce my first ppaf. I did not have any supply issues with it though apparently some people do. I must admit I didn't get into a lot of details about bfing though.

wendylynn - I'm so sorry for your loss.

afm - I'm debating taking another month or two off of the clomid after this one & focus on my weightloss. When I conceived ds I was 40lbs lighter than I am now (I had just lost 70lbs) & I keep having this nagging feeling that that is why it's not working this time. Plus the clomid cycles we are just finding so stressful. I haven't fully decided yet & I haven't discussed it with dh so we'll see.

can i join this thread? we're ttc #2 but in a laid back kind of way. you can put me in waiting to o though i think it might have happened today. my son is 18 months old and still nursing and co-sleeping...
wendlynn, sorry for your loss. i like that you are able to look ahead and prepare to try again soon.
lifeguard- i like your sig. my house is messy and we have two dogs/two cats too...
Daisy420- the family preg at the same time thing is so tricky i think. on the one hand, it could be so fun to share that time... but i worry that my sisters-in-law would not enjoy sharing their glory. i have one preg now and another who may be trying, but none of them know that we're trying. you must be close to your sil to know her cycle though, huh?
best wishes to everyone for this month!

Wendy~ I'm so sorry....

lifeguard~I can't imagine how stressful it would be, but have found stress can definately stand in our way to concieving!! So, I think some time off for more things that revolve around yourself (always good to be selfish once in a while lol) would be great. Try a trip for a massage and a girls night out just to unwind

vegan~not to dash your optimism, my opks pretty much have a line all month long... , hope this is not the case for you.

curlyfry~sorry you're having a hard time night weaning; wish I had some insights for you.....mine don't night wean until after they stop nursing during the day. We're a bit backward I guess, but I know its all about cmfort nursing. best wishes!

Hilary~WELCOME

My SIL and I are close, but the only reason I know her LMP is because she told me when she was trying to figure out her EDD lol. None of our family know we are ttc either; most would not be thrilled. She told me they were going to start trying and were pg the same month . A tad jealous I guess......but overjoyed for her of course!

Daisy: This line was darker than the super super faint line that can be there at any time. I was actually really surprised to see it and wouldn't even have started testing this early but I saw some EWCM and have been feeling crampy and decided to test on a whim. But I do think it might take 5 days or so (like last month) for it to turn positive. Oing on CD 11 would be normal for me pre-DD. I used to O some where b/w day 11 and 14. Last cycle was day 18.

Hoping August is a good month for all of us. I'm 12 dpo and had all BFN. I don't know what my LP is, but prior to my son being born it was 13-14 days. I'm sure AF will be here by Wednesday.

I'm really going to put my energy and positivity for my next cycle. I'm hoping it's not as long and I get a BFP (obviously!!). Being a teacher, my ideal is to have a spring baby so I go right from maternity leave to summer break; 3 months with baby instead of 6 weeks. Staying home is not a financial option, though I wish with all my wishes that I could be a SAHM, but I am very thankful for having summers off.

Here's to August!

Well, AF came today. Back to waiting to O. I didn't think I'd be one of the few lucky ones who get pregnant the first month trying, but there was always that hope.

sorry mama2kai

I'm getting impatient over here, and am itching to test already....I'm only 8 dpo . It may be the only day I have any hope left and can actually test, though, considering my lp has been 6 or 7 days since January . I am still pretty crampy, not sure if that means anything....

Hi ladies--may I join you?

I'm BFing DS (16 mos) and really hoping to conceive #2 in the next 2 cycles. I'm a professor, so I am hoping for a May/June baby just in time for next summer break. If I don't get pregnant soon, we will probably wait till next year to try again (boo!). I got my PPAF at 5 weeks (so much for breastfeeding staving it off!), so I had assumed I returned to full fertility by 6 mos or so, but I had not been charting or checking CM. Well, it turns out that I have severe LPD, I'm sure due to the BFing--of the 3 months I've charted, my longest LP was 8 days, and that was with faithful application of OTC Pro-Gest, and I spotted from 6 days on anyway. I had a pretty short LP to start with (11 days), but I got pregnant with DS on the 2nd month of trying. Anyhow, I just saw my CNM today, and she prescribed me Prometrium as I requested to see if that will lengthen out my LP.

So, my question is, I think I O'd yesterday. It was my normal O-date, and I woke up sweating during the night for the first time this cycle. My temp was up this am as expected. I will definitely wait till tomorrow to make sure my temp goes up again, but for those of your experienced in this, should I go ahead and start the progesterone tomorrow if I'm sure I O'd or wait for fertility friend to give me crosshairs? I'm just anxious to get started since apparently my progesterone is so very low. I don't want that lining to start sloughing off yet!

Looking forward to participating and seeing some positive nursing mama outcomes!

Welcome konayossie, may your stay be short and sweet.

I've been MIA - really busy at work and at home my DS wants to play with the computer every time I'm near it. LOL

To those with BFN's

To those waiting to test

AFM: For many reasons I managed to miss my O this cycle, but it's good/bad news. My first PPAF I O'd on CD 28 and the next cycle was CD 20 and this cycle was CD 15 so my cycles seem to be getting back to normal. I'm bummed I missed my chance this month, but happy that my cycles are regulating. So my plan is IUI at the end of the month. I think I will O around the 29th and that's my mom's birthday. She would have been 72 this year so I'm thinking that's a good omen.

Question for everyone - I am scheduled to get a crown on the 1st of September when I will be around 6DPO - should I cancel and wait to find out if I'm pregnant? or go through with the dental work?
