I see what you are talking about and I am sorry that I asked to be sure. I just know so many moms, myself included at one point, that were super small still but felt bigger because they just were not use to the subtle changes of motherhood on their bodies. I was genuinely worried that might have been the case with you.

You have gotten some great advice on different things to check into and different fitness options to look into. I have to agree with some of the others that have suggested you check in with someone that will look into your digestion and intestinal health. I hope you find some comfort and help because I can see through your post that this has really been hard on you emotionally. Please post if you find out what is the underlying cause, I am willing to bet that this is something many mom's have struggled with but just have not been as brave as you about discussing it. I am thinking I will have to wait until after this pregnancy to do more test with dr. so it will take me at least a year. But I all I can do now is eat healthy and exercise, so maybe in a year, I will have some news.

I have a belly like that (only much bigger.) I've been wondering about it, too.
I do have diastasis recti but I'm thinking it's also something more.

As for your original question, you may not notice a belly bump until you're around 6 or 7 months along.

my guess would be diastasis and maybe gluten intolerence. I am 5'7" 132 lbs with a diastasis and if i also eat wheat . . . . wheat gives me a HUGE belly . . .i feel much better since cutting it out 9 months ago. I agree though, overall I think you look great

Have you been checked for a fibroid? Mine made me look 4-5 months pregnant.

Was it like this pre-pregnancy or just now? Because I immediately looked very pregnant after #4 and #5.

Have you considered that you might have diastasis recti? Oh, hello post #20. LOL. Because at 5'7" and 130, there can NOT be enough fat on the belly to make you look pregnant, there just can't. I'm guessing that you must have the internal fat sticking out there, with some organs. I know I'm very thin and I have to constantly do the diastasis recti excercises to keep my "belly" in check! It's really common in thin women because it doesn't blend in with the other fat, LOL.

If you're pregnant, you can do prenatal yoga and do a lot of balancing, and afterwards, consider a cloth brace to help those muscles re-attach. Be sure to ask your OB and if s/he doesn't know, ask here...
