soap making recipes

So I am taking the plunge, I want to make my own soap. I just started making laundry detergent which takes literally minutes.

I am spending way too much for soap even if its on my frontier coop. I was reading the ingredients of a bar and figured I could do this!!

So can anyone direct me to a good source and recipe etc?
