Postpartum Weight Loss- August! - Page 6

Hi everyone!

I hesitated to even post today, because I didn't actually lose any weight this week! Still at 122. I joined this group to help me get motivated, and, well, it didn't work so well! The real problem, I think, is that my older child brought a cold home from school, and we have all been sick with colds this week. It has kind of sapped my energy for exercise, making healthy meals, etc. But I am back, and let's hope that I have more energy and willpower this week!

Congratulations to all of you who are having success, and a big hug to all of you who are stuck in one place like I am!

Decafmom, welcome to the club! My weight is coming off very slowly, so much of my time here the scale has not moved, especially in comparison to some of the very inspiring mamas on here who have ran, wiifitted, calorie counted & weight watchered themselves down huge amounts! You'll get there. So will I

Just a quick note to update my stats for September
current weight 147.5 total loss 36 lbs!

We went to church yesterday for the first time since Phaedra was born 7 weeks ago for her dedication and I kept hearing how great I looked very encouraging since I woke up feeling like I still looked pregnant. I want to be instantly back to prepregnancy body! (who doesn't? lol) I have to remind myself that it took 41 weeks to get this way.

and that was AFTER eating breakfast!
(i usually weigh first thing, but my 2 year old had kindermusik this morning and i completely forgot till i got home!)

now off to eat lunch! haha.

please continue to post your stats (in bold please so i don't miss anyone) for the september thread- coming tomorrow!

Sorry I have been absent for a while... things around here have been very virus-laden and I am finally returning to normal life...

to all the new mamas!!

Yay Amanda and pacificbliss!!!

This has been a really rough couple of weeks. My kids and I have passed around a horrible cold and with the fallout from that I have not been able to keep my regular exercise routine. I have not been able to inhale at all through my nose until yesterday - and so I promptly returned to running as soon as I realized I could take a breath!!

Between the sickness and AF, I am totally bummed out to report I am sadly at 127
Hopefully this week will be better. I am going to start working out twice a day 3 days a week. I have to loose 10 pounds in 4 weeks. Do you guys think this is doable?

I CANNOT believe September is here tomorrow!!???!! What??!!
