...we'd like to have his eyelids removed...

Dh and I were just talking to my brother and explaining how the glans is a mucous membrane(trying to persuade him NOT to circumcise his son ), and dh(who is circed) said , "next time we have a son, and they ask us if we want him circumcised, we'll say..."no, but we'd like to have his eyelids removed..."

: I fell out laughing. Weird, but really funny...I think I might really say that next time if I remember!

I am so grateful for a dh that has the same beliefs as I do, and a great sense of humor

I HAD to click this... too much!

Great response, btw, I have said before that we are getting DD's nostrils amputated, similar thing....

Yes - you could always add that if the eyelids are removed, you won't have to worry about your son developing any styes on them. :

What did your brother say?!

Maybe we'd like to consider having his fingernails taken off. You know all those germs that live under their nails. Just think of all the colds you'd save them by removing that source of germs!

(sorry, just couldn't help myself!)

And remember you can avoid ingrown toenails by having their toenails removed as well :LOL

Plus hygiene will be a lot easier since you won't have to clean between the toes. And the risk of toe cancer drops to nil. :

Man i can't wait till there is like a bunch of people in a group, and someone says something about circ, and how dirty it is or something derogatory, and then i can use some of these lines and make them feel like a complete idiot.

My history teacher is pregnant, and she's taking next year off, so when i'm a senior i won't be able to see her to educate her. She's from California, so i hope maybe she knows some intact boys, and she visits down there quite often so hopefully one of her friends left their boy intact. I just feel kinda ackward bringing it up with my teacher. I mean she is my teacher, but it just seems weird, kwim? She'll prolly be like Eric what is this circ stuff, in front of the class, and i'll be like , oh crap

Anyways, sorry for getting off topic.

He just smiled...I think we got him!!! It ever amazes me how circ is something people just do, without even thinking about it. : Sigh...:

You guys are a hoot! So far I would have a eye-lidless, toenail-less, etc.

LOL

And don't forget taking out teeth before they become infected with those nasty cavities. Think of all the brushing you'll save!!

And while we're at it, dont forget to amputate the ears - we could put the money we save on ear buds in a savings account for when we sergically remove the belly-button - no more sand, fluff or cookie crumbs to clean out!!!! :

Raven:
Naw, we'll leave the ears; we need something to hang the earrings on (which we'll be getting immediately after the birth.) I've already purchased the earrings. I want to get it done while my wife is still groggy from the drugs; I want to surprise her when she wakes up.

LOL, thats too funny!!

that reminds me..on another baord someone had mentioned that she has her son cut cause she knows someone who's DS got an infection with an intact penis and he ended up needing to be cut when he was 4.

Yah OK, Maybe I should have my future DD's Breasts removed to prevent infections she might get later in life
