Oh, Apricot... I'm so sorry. I hope you're as comfortable as possible until this is over, and you can find some healing soon. You know we'll all be here...

Tara: I know that feeling-- I always hide for a few days around the first 5 or so days of my cycle. It really depends on how long it takes for me to come out the other side and stop bleeding, because then I start the "this is The Cycle!!!!" thinking.


rcr: HUGE FX FOR YOU. Not that you necessarily need it, your bleeding could be totally normal, but since I know nothing about what pregnancy is like I'm going to just send you lots of good vibes now in case you need them.



11 DPO, late in the day BFN (but I hadn't peed in a while so it was fairly concentrated) and I'm feeling crampy as per usual and kind of "wet" like EWCM. Both common symptoms of my pre-AF state. So I'm thinking tomorrow morning will bring a temp drop and possibly some spotting later in the day. I'm also eating everything in sight, ugh. At least DH is a great cook.

I just wanted to add in that my miscarriages started out with light brown spotting, then turned pink, then red, then got heavier, then I started with the cramps. It's amazing how everyone's bodies are so different. I hate spotting. I don't think there should even be such thing. *hugs rcr*

AFM....CD 18...just....waiting. Testing Aug. 24th. Hoping this is the month. We're spending enough on acupuncture this month that's for sure......*sigh*

I'm in exactly the same boat! Well except I'm on CD13 and haven't Oed yet.
The acupuncture has done wonders for me. I'm afraid to quit, but I can't afford it. At least I'm paid up until next month, so I would at least get one more cycle out of it.

Miriam and Beloved - I am so sorry! I hate that when you get all psyched up about a certain cycle, only to have it totally let you down. We've all been there.

AFM - Nothing to report. I wish I had more relevant signs but I'm 10dpo and I got nothing but the usual TWW signs. If I wasn't on progesterone I'd be starting AF soon. Testing tomorrow I think. If BFN, I may actually try to delay AF to start the IUI on a better schedule (by continuing the suppositories past 14dpo). We're planning to be out of town cd9-12, which isn't going to work with monitoring...I am waiting to hear from my RE about it.

Apricot, I am sorry. How are you doing. I am thinking about you.

AFM - after the dr. (well, actually her nurse) called me back yesterday she told me to go to the emergency room. They checked my cervix (still closed, but there was blood there), did an ultrasound (vaginal), and saw a yolk but no baby (pole, which is a new word to me), and took my hormone levels, which were normal, but since I have not had any bloodwork done yet they did not know if they were up or down.

This morning I followed-up with the dr., and she said that my cervix is still closed but there is old blood there (this morning I have not been bleeding but have been getting old, brownish blood when I wipe), and I gave some more blood to check for progstrone. They are going to call me back and if it is not normal, put me on progstrone, which I have never taken. I have another ultrasound schedled for Monday, and the doc said that she should know for sure if there is a baby there (if I don't miscarry first, that is).

Still feeling crampy. I am staying home from work to lay in bed and cry today.

I am tempted to not even post this...but I feel really hot and a little sick right now. Have been feeling extra hot all week (but, you know, it's August). It's not what I usually feel at 10dpo (which is usually nothing). I've also been feeling crampy and dizzy but I always feel that in the TWW... trying not to get my hopes up but feeling bad has never felt so good!

AFM- I am CD10, and just got a high reading (I am not temping, or being obsessive about OPK's, cm, etc.) BUT (and here's the real kicker) DH is getting a SA early tomorrow morning! I likely won't O until at least Saturday, so it should be fine... Rescheduling is more difficult than you might think... Also, I am just sad lately. Just sad...

I am a few days past 6 weeks, I think. Thing is, I was out of the country when I got AF (and when we conceived), and so the dates could be of. I am hoping they are. If they are, I could be 6 weeks today instead of 6 weeks and 2 days like I thought. Everything I read says that a yolk only is normal between 5-6 weeks but after that you should see a baby.

AFM- no bright red blood today, just old blood still. That seems good to me. I have still been at home moping around and sleeping (which is stupid, because I know I won't be able to sleep tonight). We just got a new bird feeder, and I am watching the birds eat from it right now.

Can you believe it, I had my Diva cup in all day and NOTHING was in it tonight after about 10 hours (I know, I was at work all day so I didn't take a moment to take it out earlier). Nothing! So I'm not CD1 yet. I was so sure I would be, I even had a bit of spotting this morning... and then nothing, not even a pinkish tinge all day. Just CM. Still some crampy feelings. I guess I can still test in the morning if nothing happens? I don't know. *shrug*

Apricot-- How are you feeling??

Cramps are getting heavier and bleeding is much worse, like a normal period. I am still holding out hope, but I cried all evening long. DH is not very helpful, although I can't think of anything that he could possibly do to help.

It's 4:20am over here. I'm elegantly updating from the toilet, ladies. Thought I was back in high school and waking up to Richter scale cd1 cramps, but randomly enough, it turned out that it's diarrhea. Fun! No af yet, just occasional pink.
