Thank you! This is wonderful!
I LOVE the Rose Ensemble - I used to live in the Twin Cities (where they're based), so I got to see them perform for free. Amazing. They even did a free children's program at our local library where they did music and dance from their Hawaiian album.
If you like the Rose Ensemble, try Anonymous 4.
If you like chant, try a CD of music by Hildegard of Bingen.
I don't listen to much contemporary Christian music because so much of it sounds the same to me, but here are three albums I love:
1. "Paper Skin" by Kendall Payne. I could listen to this all day. (Also try "Grown.")
2. "Share the Well" by Caedmon's Call. Music with a social justice theme inspired by a mission trip to India.
3. "Carried Along" by Andrew Peterson. Folky guitar rock.
