ISO good pillow!!

If you sleep with one of those full-body pregnancy pillows, do you recommend yours? Which brand?

I've seen a few different kinds...and some look MASSIVE but amazing. I have a queen sized bed and my husband sometimes ends up migrating to the middle so while I would love to sleep on a gigantic fluffy cloud, it's logistically impossible.

Too bad I can't test drive any of them.

I just got a Room Essentials body pillow from Target, and I'm loving it. It's a *tiny* bit too fluffy right now, but I'm sure it will be beaten down a bit pretty quickly!

With DD I had a boppy pregnancy pillow. I LOVED it. I too have a queen bed. It was great!

Thanks, ladies!

I'm curious if anyone's used a Snoogle yet. It seems so versatile...

I personally did not like my snoogle and sold it on Craigslist! I just prefer to use an european square pillow if I need it and haven't even needed it till now and I'm 36 weeks along.

I was just about to post a rec for the Snoogle. I *love* mine and wouldn't be without it. The only problem is hefting it out of the way and re-positioning it every time I get up to pee, but I had to do that when I was using several regular pillows also, so I don't know if there is a solution to that. Also, my bed is really high, so I have to move the pillow or I will truly fall trying to get out of bed--probably would not be a problem with a low or even normal height bed.

The snoogle feels like a giant hug, which is SO NICE when you're feeling terrible, sad, or just uncomfortable. I don't worry about all the pillows getting away from me--the one cradles my neck, holds up my belly, elevates or separates my legs...it's a dream. My dog loves it, too. She gets in and snuggles it during the day when I'm not in it! Ha.

This is the one specialty pregnancy item I wish I'd sucked it up and spent the money on. trying to rearrange several pillows every time I got up to pee was really not worth it in the long run. If I ever do this again I will definitely buy one.

i also really like my snoogle. i do find it very versatile and very comfy.
we have a queen bed and dh like to sleep in the middle too!! he's not as big a fan of the snoogle as i am, but then again, he's not the one growing the baby!!!

I also got the snoogle, on crafty's recommendation. I was skeptical since I don't much like high pillows, but it has been fine. Last night, DS was curled up in it and I couldn't use it until he moved (I tried moving him, and he rolled right back), and had trouble falling asleep without it! It really makes sleeping more comfortable and is indeed versatile. I checked it out at babies r us, and then decided to purchase on amazon.com bc we have free shipping, and that one at least comes with a (not so comfortable) cover. Check out the reviews at amazon -- there are tons!

So it seems like the Snoogle is in the lead!

Here is the other pillow I was referring to: http://www.babyage.com/products/9062...mpaign=Primary

It is MASSIVE. I can't imagine using that on anything smaller than a King-sized bed to comfortably use it and have a partner in bed!

That one IS massive! I decided against the other larger ones because the snoogle has the option of not having anything around your belly area. Believe it or not, while I like to put my leg over the pillow, I don't like it touching my belly. I'm 33 weeks and the belly is quite large, I just prefer to have my belly laying on the bed. I do also sometimes face the long end and just have it go in front of my belly. This is also comfortable. I don't worry about lugging it around with me as I turn over, but rather primarily sleep on my left side in the way I described. I only occasionally switch to my right and just leave the pillow in the same place if I need a change of position.

The snoogle is also less large than one might think -- it definitely takes up less space than an entire pillow on either side of you. The one in this link looks like it would take up about an entire pillow size front and back each, which is a lot! I use the snoogle in a queen bed I share with DS (DH is on twin next to us) and it really doesn't take up much space at all (I mean, yeah, it's big, but not huge).

I am now the happy owner of a Snoogle Total Body Pillow! And just in time. I don't think I got even 5 hours of sleep last night (partly due to insomnia, partly due to having to wake up earlier than usual).

I test drove it for 15 seconds...and didn't want to move. I cannot wait to take a nap in a little bit.

Well it sounds like you're all set but I'll put in my 2 cents for anyone else reading this. I had a Leacho Back N Belly pillow during my first pregnancy and loved it, but it was expensive and did take up a lot of our queen sized bed.

I got a Snoogle this time around and it's OK. It worked well up until about 34 weeks, at which point I broke down and bought another Back N Belly (which costs about the same as the Snoogle now). For me it's fluffier, gives better support and you don't have to re-arrange it when you want to switch sides. And my hubby can live with it. I gave my Snoogle to my toddler. I love, love, love my Leacho Back N Belly. I call it my "nest".

That pillow looks amazing...but just as big as the monster I posted above! I know that people say it's workable in a queen-sized bed but my husband thinks the full body pillow is too big! He needs all the room he can get as it is with his tossing and turning, I don't know how the back Back N Belly would fare.

Of course...he could just sleep in the couch.

I don't think mine is nearly as big as the one you posted but geez, that one looks AWESOME. I looked at it once before when it was $80 but now it's on sale! Oh well. I'll stick with my Back N Belly. My husband doesn't move at all at night so I'm lucky. And he'd definitely sleep on the couch if it came to that.

I hope your Snoogle continues to work for you!
