Stinky kids' bathroom!

My guest bathroom is also my kids' bathroom, and lately I just can't combat the pee smell in there! My 5.5 yr old boy's aim obviously isn't great, and my 4yr old DD is a dripper. My 2 yr old has started showing interest in the toilet too and I can't imagine what it's going to be like in there with three little pee-ers.

So what can I do - short of cleaning the toilet and floor every time they pee - to stop the bathroom from smelling? I feel like it's a losing battle!

Thanks.

How's the flooring around the toilet? Tile or linoleum that's old and/or lifting can harbor residue.

Have you removed the entire toilet seat and cleaned where the bolts are, etc? You'd be surprised at what sort of crud gets under there.

I wipe at the floor with a wet bunch of TP every time I notice a stink when I'm in there, then flush it...I guess every couple days.

I finally mostly got rid of the pee smell in my bathroom by removing and scrubbing out all parts of the toilet seat. It was incredibly gross underneath the things that hold the toilet seat onto the bowl. All the scrubbing in the world was not helping until I took it apart.

Thanks - hopefully taking the toilet seat apart will work!
