Birth Pool with seat in it better?

I'm looking at birth pools HERE and am wondering if the ones with seats (like the Regular Birth Pool in a Box with liner) are better? Do the seats actually come in handy or could I just do with one of the kiddie pools and save myself some money?

I used BPIAB for my last birth. I sat on the seat/pillow for about the first half hour of laboring in the pool. I kept sliding off. Then I wanted on hands and knees and didn't sit again until after the baby was born.I found it pretty useless. I've read of women piling pillows or folded blankets/towels under one end of the other types of pools, for a similar effect. I may do that this time, or may not bother.

It may be most useful for my DH to sit on! He was in the tub with me for a long time last time. He doesn't sit well on the floor, so the boost may be good. The seat seems a little small to me for "sitting," though. Might be useful as a lumbar support, too.
