help me replace my lotion

I am a huge fan of pure cocoa butter and shea butter, I use them exclusively on my babies. However I personally end up using some store bought lotion, St. Ives right now, because I find them a little inconvienent for daily use.

1. I have to heat them to make it easier to apply and without a microwave it takes longer, requires thinking ahead. sometimes I remember and put the jar in a sink of hot water while i shower or even in the shower with me.

2. they are a little greasy, which I don't mind at night but during the day when I am going out I don't want to be all greasy.

So if I whip them will they be softer and easier to apply? should I add oil to the butter? As for the greasy issue am I just using too much or is that the way it is?

I whip Shea butter with jojoba oil to lighten the texture. It's my all-over everything moisturizer. I just rub a little into my hands and press into my face, or else it will get greasy.

I just use olive oil in the shower with a little sea salt as a exfolent and deodorant and when i rinse off the salt my skin is really soft and I no longer need lotion( and i live in a really dry climate) my skin stays really soft a moisturized all day and well into the next day.

I would add some oil. I use coconut oil, almond oil or hemp oil but coconut is my favorite. I don't find it greasy after about 5 mins.
